A Full Week.

The house was quiet as I stepped out of my room after feeding my children. They were napping peacefully in their cots, and I couldn't be more grateful. I padded down the stairs searching for Anna.
“Anna?” I called out to her in the large expanse of the living room. “Anna?”
“I'm here.” She materialized out of nowhere almost immediately. “Is there an issue? Do you need something?”
Her face was kind as she came towards me.
“No. It's nothing.” I replied. “I just felt kind of bored and I finished feeding the kids, so… I was—”
“You aren't supposed to do anything for the next two to three months after you've healed, Elara. That is the order of the boss.”
