Ruby break off the contact and drag her hands out of his grip, putting a safe space between them.
"Why did you follow me? Aren't you supposed to be with my brother?" He asked finding a spot on his body to rest his hands.
"We need to come to an agreement here" Ruby said almost in a whisper and turn around to see if anyone is close by.
Logan eyes her not sure what she is taking about and when he did not say anything to disagree, she continue.
"We can both agree what happened was just a spontaneous night of fun so we keep our lips shut about it" she told him and Logan frown immediately.
She is trying to push him off, not good.
When he wouldn't say anything, Ruby widen her eyes a bit so let him know that she wanted his opinion or perhaps his agreement to this.
"Why are you so afraid?" He chuckled mockingly.
"Or are you feeling guilty that you are slept with two brothers" his voice came accusing and in a jeer.
Ruby's head snap in anger at his accusation and she push him hard on the chest scowling.
"I didn't sleep with your brother...yet" she raise her voice and her words get catch in her throat.
She hasn't slept with Ryder but it would happen soon enough whether she wants it or not. They need to be physically and intimately bind together.
Logan's face wash off any expression at her answer, he did not know whether to feel good or furious.
"So you are planning to sleep with him? When?" He find himself asking before he could bite his tongue to stop himself.
Ruby's face grow purple at the unexpected bold question, she widen her eyes at him but sure how and why she should answer that or even have this kind of discussion with him.
"Why are you so concerned about that?" She fired and hide her flush while crossing her hands against her chest.
"I just know how you feel about sleeping with both of us, does it feel familiar?" Logan could not stop himself, he take a step forward to dim the space between them a bit.
"What?" Ruby's hands fell slowly, her mouth agape.
"Sleeping with me and my brother, maybe you will get a deja vu or something. Or perhaps you could compare the s*x and see which one is better"
Logan lean in, a glint of malice sparkled in his eyes accompanied by a raised brow and a little smirk.
Ruby recoil to keep their faces away from each other as he closes the space again and stares appalled.
She is dumbstruck for a second but when she regain herself, she could not control her anger and land a hit on his cheek..
"You are crazy" she breathed hard.
Logan run his tongue through his mouth feeling the hurt from his burning cheek and chuckle at how good her hits are.
"Why? You feel ashamed after finding out that you slept with your brother-in-law and you are trying to keep my mouth shut" he said, his expression hard as he speaks.
Ruby try to balance her breathe so she won't feel intimidated by him and stand her feet firm on the floor.
"I am not ashamed, I was just..."
"I get it. I will help pretend then" he gave in and Ruby exhale but it didn't last a second.
"However, if you ever want to compare, you know where to find me" he said and come at her in a blink of an eye.
Ruby's eyes flutter as his forehead graze hers slightly and his muscular body triumph overs her while he stares down at her lips. Her breathe seized and she trembled inwardly nervous about what he is going to do. She try to resist staring back at his lips and stare at his face instead.
"Good night sister-in-law" he said and walk past her into his room.
Ruby gasps after he left not sure why she felt numb and dumb just now.
She push her hair back and scatter it with her fingers trying to calm down.
"Are you alright?"
Ruby jolt at the sound of the voice and turn back to see a feeble looking girl standing behind her. She looks weak and gentle
"Yes" she cleared her throat, not recalling her name.
She nod her head slowly and start to walk away when Ruby rush to her and grab her arm, she let go as she stop and turn to her.
"Is there an extra room or an empty guest room I could crash in?" She asked.
She did not feel ease sleeping beside Ryder tonight, not after the uncomfortable moment they have earlier and the annoying irresistible infatuation she has going on with Logan.
Piper squint her eyes not sure she understand what is going on, she thought the two has slept together last night.
Why is she asking for another room?
"Well, is there?" Ruby repeats when she wouldn't answer.
"Yes, I can show you" sh said and lead her over there.
It's in the far corner and the first room to it is Logan's room. Piper open the door to show that the room hasn't been occupied for a long time.
They walk in and Ruby glance around at how things are kept in place despite the fact that the room seem not to have been used for a while now.
"Thanks" she said to Piper who could not force her smile out.
"Are you sure you want to stay here? Ryder... Alpha might be displeased" she told her but Ruby muffled her lips.
She knows she is over-thinking it, but then she needs the space and she hope Ryder would understand. The reason she did not ask him is because she feel he might refuse.
He is quite dutiful.
Piper knock on the door to Ryder's room and he ask her to come in hearing her voice.
His eyes dash to her as she walk in to see if there is nothing wrong.
"Are you...?" He is about to say and Piper shake her head.
She bear a smile, happy to see he still cares much about her even when he has his Luna now.
"About the Luna..." She said and pursed her lips looking hesitantly.
Ryder get up from the bed he is sitting and walk to her, looking a bit worried and ask her what is it.
"She wanted to stay at your mother's room, I told her you wouldn't like it but she insisted and I had no choice than let her in" she said and look at him afraid he might be upset and scold her.
Ryder look at her and chuckle a bit seeing how frighten she seems and pat her hair gently.
"It's fine" he said still smiling.
Piper's face furrowed for a second but she quickly dispersed it and let out a relief smile too.
"I was worried for nothing then" she said and bid him good night.
She walk out of his room and her smile drown instantly, she look more pale but because of the anger erupting inside of her.
She knows what that room means to Ryder and seeing how he nonchalantly did not mind Ruby staying there makes her furious.
Ruby is going to steal Ryder from her and that thought terrifies and infuriates her.
Well, she knows someone who could deal with Ruby.
