Piper gazed at Ryder who seem to be waiting for Ruby to come back, he hides a concerned countenance behind his calm look.
Everyone else has left the table after finishing their meal but she decided to stay behind with him.
Seeing how Logan had followed almost immediately after Ruby, she decided it is a good time to expose the two of them to Ryder.
She stand up from her chair to sit beside Ryder, where Ruby was sitting.
Ryder who holds his drink in his hand, not taking a sip but staring absently at the doorway where Ruby had disappeared. He did not notice her until Piper tap him gently.
She smiled slyly.
"You know..." she said swirling her spoon in her tea,
"I’ve noticed something strange."Ryder’s gaze flickered to her.
"What?" he asked quickly
