We headed to her room together, and when we opened the door, she was lying on hte bed, facing away from us. For a moment, I thought she was asleep and turned to tell my brothers that maybe we should let her rest. But a quiet broken sob came out from her right then.
"Raven..." Luca whispered and we all moved to her at once.
She was crying, her shoulders shaking where she buried her face in a pillow.
"Oh baby," I said, sitting on the bed beside her, tentatively touching her shoulders. "Please don't cry."
"I almost killed her," Raven choked out. "I wanted to...I still want to."
"Then you will," Jaxon said firmly, kneeling on her other side. "Tomorrow at damn, just like you decreed."
