When I roared, the entire floor shook. I really hadn’t understood just how much change being a Luna was going to bring to me.
I snarled back at Varek’s wolf form and watched him whimper before squaring up. I knew he wanted so badly to run but doing so now will only make him like a weakling in front of his followers and that was best for me since I will kill him here.
He leapt at me and I swiped at him midair, causing him to hit the ball beside us. He left out a roar of pain and charged at me again. This time, I was even more prepared.
My body was buzzing with so much energy and power that I found it very hard to stay calm. I was filled with complete rage and I just wanted nothing more than to tear Varek into shreds.
