The past three hours has had more healers in our packs than we've ever had and yet none of them could pinpoint what was wrong with Raven.
They all just left with her blood samples promising to get back to us once they found something, but that didn't sound promising.
So I remained with her, running every test I could think of, to desperately search for answers while Raven deteriorated in front of my eyes.
Her temperature had spiked to a number the thermometer wasn't even reading anymore and her skin had become pale and clammy, drenched in cold sweat. Although she'd stopped vomiting blood in large amounts, she kept coughing up small amounts of blood that weakened her even faster.
And the baby's heartbeat... gods, the baby's heartbeat was so faint now I could barely detect it.
