"Mmmmmmmmm stop"I roll over my bed as my alarm continue ringing

"Rise and shine Vanessa, you've got an interview to go to"Antie Christine,our maid bang hard on my door waking me

"I'm awake Antie"my alarm stops as i got up and walk to the door to open for Antie but not finding her so close it hard and walk to the washroom to do my daily routine

I took a quick shower and wore my black pencil skirt with a white top and high heels.I fix my bed, comb my hair and took my leather jacket and my hand bag so lead myself downstairs.

As I get inside the kitchen i found my father and stepmom having breakfast.

" Good morning"I greet both of them but I got a reply from My dad

" Good morning to you too"he fake a smile and continue digging into his plate

"Dad I'm going out and I'll be back by the evening"

"And Where are you off to wearing that"Nadia,my stepmother asked me while annoyingly pointing my outfit

"And why should I tell you because it won't make a difference anyway"I Harshly respond her

believe me,I dispise her coz we are exactly black Americans but why did dad marry an African woman and morever he chose her over millions of them

"Don't talk to her like that"My dad raised his voice

"No John leave her she's still a child"

Nadia Really likes to act as a perfect mother when my dad's around and I really hate it

"See,she loves you even when you don't even respect her,at least have some manners when your talking to her"

"Ohh really dad!Are you going to teach me how to talk to her?"

"yes because she's your mot..."I cut him short and I can feel my blood boiling in an instant

"Dare you, she's not my mother and if you've actually forgot.my mother died years ago in a car accident and who knows maybe this two faced woman killed her"

"Vanessa"Dad raised his hand to slap me but stopped inches away from my cheek

"Why did you stop?.... come on hit me"I could feel tears in my eyes because my dad had never tried to raise his hand on me but today,he was going to hit me for this two faced woman

"I hate you d......."

"Good morning"Kayla's voice cut me, running into my arms

"Morning Girlfriend"I hug her tight, she's not like Nadia or my dad at all

"Hey sister,are you going for an interview?"she whispered in my ear while she broke the hug and hold my cheeks

"Yes dear"i whispered back

"Are you crying?"

"not at all"I removed my tears and was about to walk out when she stop me and give me another hug

"Good luck sister, have a great interview"she whispered so that dad and Nadia can't hear her again

"Thank you"I kissed her cheeks and walk to the door

"when you get back,we need to talk about something"He smiles and somehow the smile that used to warm my heart scares me today

" whatever,bye"

"have a great day sister"Kayla wave at me as I took my POLO car and drive off

I began listening to my music all the way to my interview of the big Addingtong I was just listening to Chris Brown's playlist until I arrive

when I arrive,I park my car in the parking lot Then I lead myself inside.i found a nice black woman on the receptionist,her nametag was named"Nosipho" or something like that SO I greet her.

"hello I'm Vanessa Williams and I'm here for the interview"I put a best smile on my face and the lady seems nice and return the smile

"You applied for the secretary position"she talks different but sweet

"That's right"

"The interview will be in the 10th floor,I will lead you there"

"Thank you"

she walk with me to the elevator and believe me this place is beautiful but I'm not really planning on staying here forever,I mean I must move back to America,my hometown, I'm missing there already

we arrived at the 10th floor so I got out and look around

"wow, this place is really amazing"

"yes it is and anyway are you from around here?"

"not really,I mean I'm American so,I've just landed here by miracles haha"I faked a laugh as much as I can because I'm talking rubbish right now

"I hope you can manage from here"she smiled and close the elevator and I walk forward and find many people waiting for the interview so I sat down and after 5 minutes everyone in the office start to panic saying the boss is here

everyone in the office looked like the ghost is about to enter and they go up and down, falling files and running

"what's happening to everyone?"

Everyone seems scared,some were running and some were asking how they look,but why all this for just a guy or I can say the boss

Everyone was panicking, they were falling files and running around.everything seems like a movie then boooom....A girl next to me ask me how she looks.

"Hey,how do I look?"I don't even care how I look right now because I just want to get this job, save money and go back to America

"You look good but...."she cut me short with a really serious face

"I'm Not good but perfect"ok but why did you ask me

"Yes you look perfect"I replied her rolling my eyes and I know it's rude but I'm just feeling somehow annoyed

"Yes honey I know and anyway my name describes me I'm Beauty, beauty Dlamini"she bring her hand forward to greet me and I looked at her beautiful smile. she really is beautiful

" Vanessa Williams "I greet her back returning the same smile

" Your surname is strange so no offence but are you a South African?"I smile

"No I'm an American but tell me something,why is everyone panicking and why are you asking about your looks, didn't you look at yourself on the mirror in the morning?"she began laughing

"I did but I've heard that Mrs Kganyago has left this office after her son Christian Addingtong SO Mr Christian is an American but we don't really know why their Surnames doesn't match but who cares he just joined the company recently, it's been three months But I've heard that he only loves perfection"

"Maybe he's the stepson"

"we'll, nobody knows darling but I'm really looking forward of working in this company"

"But why?"

" Because I like him,no I love him. He's so very handsome with his caramel colour and those grey eyes And Wa nkgahla(He attract me)"She said something in her language and I didn't understand

"What's that?....."

"What's what?!!"she raised her eyebrows

"You said something in Sotho"

"Ohhhh sorry,I said he attract me"she giggles and then a guy enters the hallway running

"THE BOSS HAS ARRIVED "He shouts scared and then A Handsome guy enter the office, wearing black clothes. everything he's wearing is black,His suit, t-shirt,shoes and sunglasses and omg he's the definition of Hotness,i mean look at him but I wonder if something's wrong with him

I can wear black but it's definitely not my favourite

he walk inside and then stop,he removed his glasses and look at everyone in the office AND then a beautiful lady walked in and bump into him,he turned and say one word

"your fired"

what the hell.....

"But sir...."he walk away from her not even looking back at her,how rude.

"I've told you that i need a new secretary then where is she?"He shout and my heart almost stopped beating and then,A guy respond,his name tag says he's Kamo

"sir I've made preparation for everything and by tomorrow you'll have a secretary"

"Ok then prepare for my next meeting"

"Right away sir"he smiled and was about to proceed with his work when he shout again

" Don't ever Smile when I'm talking to you, I've told you that many times, unless you want to get fired next time"

what's his problem,does he have any anger issues or something

" I'm sorry sir"he stammered

"I hate apologies and Anyway why is my office crowded!! is this maybe a park or something?

This guy is so mean, arrogant and full of himself

"They are here for the interview SIR"I've been observing this guy and ever since the boss has entered, he's been stammering

"Ok Listen you all, I'm the boss in this office SO I'm going to tell you what I hate and what I like and I want everyone to listen carefully and If you think that you and I are going to be cat and Mouse in my office then,the door is opened because, we're not here to play butt we're here to work. I'm giving you all 10 seconds to decide and the Time starts now"Many people start taking their bags and walk out,but I just sat down because I need this job

"Good"he continue "SO were was I.....ohhhh I was saying I like perfection and everything in my office should be perfect.I don't like bright colours in my office SO from tomorrow,only black and white are allowed in my office And I hate laziness and always remember that in this office profit comes first and no family matters are allowed to be attended here in a place of meetings, so if you make a mistake then your fired coz rule number 2 there's no little mistakes in my life SO people,the rest of my rules are with kamogelo here. Good day"he walk away leaving everyone stunned and I think I just watched a show

"Wait,I thought you said you can't hear SOtho"

"It's time for the interview everyone"the guy named Kamo shout and start to approach us

"Beauty O batlang MO?(Beauty what are you doing here) I've told you many times that you must not come to my work place so why are you here?"

"Relax bro and take a chill pill. I'm just here for the interview"

"In my office?"

"Ohhhhhh hello. this is Christian's office Not yours"

"Leina la Gago ke mang?(what's your name)"this is embarrassing,I don't really understand Sotho so well but now I can understand that he's asking my name

"Vanessa Williams"he pulls his head forward for me to greet him and I did

" I'm kamogelo Dlamini"he smiles again and two dimples appeared

"Buti(brother),are you going to stare at her the whole day?I know she's pretty but focus on your work and moreover she doesn't really understand Sotho well Duh"she roll her eyes

Beauty will die for this arrogant guy someday whereas nobody likes him and his attitude. I'll rather die than marry someone like him no offence

"No need to remind me that"she roll her eyes meanwhile a lady call out to Kamo

"Bye Vanessa,I hope to see you soon "he gave me that dimples smile and walk away

Then the interview start,they call our names one by one, doing this and that until they finished, guess what I got the job but Kamo said he will explain everything to me tomorrow morning so I must come early.somehow he's such a charmer with his little Talks.

Anyway By the time I've finished,it was 15:00pm SO that was quick.I got inside my car and my phone rings {Kayla}I answered it

Me:Hey Girlfriend

kayla:hey sis.Did I disturb you?

Me:No I'm done with the interview, I'm going to get myself some lunch what's up?

kayla:Nothing can I come with you and School is already out. no excuses ok?

Me:Ok, I'll come pick you now.where are you?

kayla: I'm here at the park near my school.

Me: alright,I'll be there.Give me 15 minutes

I hang up and drive away,I reach the park after 10-15 minutes because it's not far way from the office AND when I get there she saw my car and came running to it

"hey,slow down"she get in the car and hug me

"I know but I love you more"my sister is my life and I don't want anything bad to happen to her due to some guy or someone trying to hurt her

"sister why does it seems like you don't care at all?"

"And what makes my darling girlfriend to say that?"I asked her as I turn on my car and drive

"how is that possible,maybe I was caught up with the stress of the interview because I'll never ignore you Afterall your my sweet sister"pulling her cheeks using my left hand

I hated her "yes" but when she Was so young because I felt like she was taking everything from me along with our Evel stepmother but she waa always fond of me and she made my hatred turn into love

"Can a sister hate another sister?"

"No,I know she lied to me plus that's what she always do"

"she's still your mother Kayla so please respect her ok"she looked away and ignore what I've just said

"She told you to stay away from me right?"

"yes,can you believe that but she knows that it's impossible because your my life"

"SISTERS FOREVER"I shout out loud and she's joined me

"FOREVER"we giggled

"what do you want for lunch"

"McDonald's please and yes spill me the details about the interview"

"No it was boring"

"come on sister, who's the new guy?I smiled thinking about Kamo's dimple smile

"OMG sister,that smiles tells me a lot already"

"Shut up, I'm not smiling"

"ok ok,let me get us some food first"

Ww drive thru and order our food and she was busy asking me about what happened at the office and I explained everything and I've even told her about my arrogant boss as well as the two siblings and all she did was laugh.she ended up telling me about her high school life she had just joined recently and a new guy that she likes

Not too long we arrived home and when we enter, dad was looking at me,he looked angry along with Nadia

"where had you been all day?"

"Since when did you start asking me about my life and whereabouts?"

"Just answer the darn question Vanessa"his voice changed more now,it was beginning to be deep

"I don't think I need to answer that"

"Just answer it Mitchell"he shouted loudly

"I-HAVE-A-LIFE SO don't try to control me like a teenage coz I'm not"

"if you have a life then why are you dragging my little daughter into your own life"

"Mom If you want me to stay away from my sister then I will stay away from you too"

"vanessa Just go and freshen up,wear something nice, it's in your room"

"I have a surprise for you"I don't know what's going on in my fathers head right now

"I hope the suprise is nice"He smiled

"Hurry up and pack your bags"

"Are we going to America?" something inside me just woken up suddenly

"it's something like that so yes your going to America tonight"

"Really?"He respond with a warm smile and for a moment I believe him

"ok I'll go quickly"

I walk to my room and find a beautiful white dress with white sparkling heels so I quickly walk to it and lift it

"Wow, it's so pretty. Finally I'm going to back to America "

I pack my bags and took everything here that belongs to me also I quickly took a shower and wear the dress and heels I put on some make up and style my hair and when I was almost done,dad came inside my room and I stand up

"Are you ready?"

"Absolutely but dad...."he cut me short

"I need to talk to you first"

"Ok"he sat me down and kneel down

"Dear do you love your Mother?"

"yes dad but what happened?"

" please promise me that you will do everything I say"he started crying and I'm totally shocked now

"I promise dad"

"if I tell you to get married for your mother's sake then,will you do it"I tood up and removed his hands on me

"What do you mean dad?"

" Come with me"

he took my hand and lead me downstairs and I found Mr Addington my boss

"what's my boss doing here?"

"So she's my new wife"

"WHAT!New Wife!!I don't understand dad what's going on"

"So you didn't tell her,I don't really have much time,we must go to the court room for the marriage and we're flying back to America tonight and you guys know that i don't like imperfections "I'm losing my mind now

"Who's getting married here?"

"Vanessa. please forgive me my dear I've sell you off to the Addington family"He had tears in his eyes but now I don't care

"Noooooo,So this was your suprise what kind of a father are you"I yelled crying now,not Caring about my make up

"Dear,I had no choice but to...."I cut him off

"Vanessa situations were such that I had no choice"he tried to touch me but I moved away
