Chapter 10 Chaos

James POV

We reached the hospital and the doctors wheeled her in. I was so scared. I waited there, I didn't even close my eyes once or do anything.

The doctor came out first and I asked him about her.

"Doctor, what is wrong with her? Is she alright?"

"Doctor: She is fine. She fainted because she was scared, and she is pregnant. I will advise you not to make her unhappy, or think too much, or even go through stress."

"She is pregnant?" I asked the doctor.

"Yes."

Wow, my baby is pregnant. I am so happy and relieved that she is fine.

"Doctor, can I check on her?"

"Yes, you can. Just make sure she rests," the doctor said and left.

I went inside the ward. I was broken when I saw her there, not opening her eyes or talking. I sat beside her and I started talking to her, that she should wake up soon, that I am already missing her.

I wanted to go and deal with Liam myself but I can't leave my baby's side.

I called Ethan and I told him what to do with Liam.

After a while I received a call from Ethan.

"Ethan: Mr. Smith, someone has released the news of the assault."

"I asked you to take care of it, didn't I? How did someone manage to know about it?" I shouted at him. I know it wasn't his fault but I couldn't control myself.

"Ethan: I'm sorry but I traced the person that leaked the news and I found out it is connected to Miss Mia."

"Mia? How come this is connected to her? Okay, just transfer Liam back to our country. Send some bodyguards to Emily's ward. We will go back if she wakes up. We will take the private jet."

I ended the call before he could say anything that would break my heart. But how come Mia is involved in this? If she is also involved in the reason why Liam did that to Emily, I swear I won't spare her.

After some hours, she woke up.
