Chapter 11 Misunderstanding

Emily POV

I woke up and I saw James by my side.

He stood up and called the doctor. The doctor came to my side and checked on me. He told James I was already better, that I could be discharged tomorrow.

"James"

"Yes my love, don't stress yourself, and I have something to tell you."

"What's that?"

"You are pregnant baby, you are carrying a baby," I told him with so much joy on my face. I could see he was shocked because he kept looking at his belly and I could see he was very happy.

"Wait, you mean there is a child in my belly? How many weeks?"

"The doctor said it is three weeks." I think I should tell her everything that is going on so she can know what to do. "Baby, I have something to tell you but I don't want you to think about it because of the pregnancy, promise me."

"I promise you James, now tell me what is going on."

"Actually, the news of the assault has been leaked by someone. And when we did some investigation, it turns out to be Mia, my ex." I don't know what to do after telling her this. I don't know how she will react. Will she blame me?

After he said the person that was involved, I didn't say anything. He probably thought I was angry, because he kept apologizing to me. But I was thinking about how to get back at that b***h for what she did with James before and now me.

"James: Baby, I'm sorry. I didn't know about it or her arrival. I will deal with her, trust me. Please don't be angry with me."

" The thing she wants to do is to get between us and break us apart so let her thinks she do that, she will let her guard down and we will find a way to deal with her, mind you i don't want her to come close to you"

" Don't worry i will make sure of that, your plan is great baby"

The next day, we went back home and the news of the assault is still spreading fast

James ask me to go live and explain everything

I went on live and start saying everything that happened between me and liam and how the assault happened

Most people were pitying me and standing up for me, while some people are still blaming me.

Some days have pass and the news have died down and everyone have continue with their life

James have been busy with work and not coming home frequently again.

I decided to visit him the office today

I dressed and ask michael to drive me to the office, i reached the office and no one is stopping, i went straight to his office i didn't knock as i enter, i was shocked at the scene i saw.

James and mia, hugging each other, i didn't even say anything as i ran downstairs, i took a cab and went to my house, my parent house.

I didn't see anyone at home but That makes it better cause i wanted to be alone.

" How could james do this to me, he claim he loved me and his ex just came back, he went running back to her, how could he do this to me, am not going to forgive him"

I kept crying and i slept off i didn't want to think too much because of the baby health.
