Gideon marked me!
It was a crucial moment, and I had to use this method to stop Corey.
My power could finally no longer be manipulated by Corey, that incompetent alpha!
I really regretted that I had loved Corey for years. Now I've learned my lessons. I needed to pay for what I had done wrong.
But, luckily, fate brought me to a more deserving man.
If my ability was exclusive to powerful alphas, Gideon was undoubtedly the best one to get it. He was always powerful, trustworthy and kind. He was the opposite of Corey.
Immersed in that great joy that Corey could no longer abuse my power, I could still sense the tingling sensation as Gideon drew closer to my neck and marked me.
