Jason Gale was at home thinking of Agnes as if he would never see her again.
He stared at her number on his phone, trying to hold himself back from calling her. If not for that friend of hers that showed up, he would have had a better time with her, but that loud friend of hers ruined his time with her.
Jason was staring into thin air, thinking about this Agnes, and didn't know that Mr Gale, his father, was watching him.
''I hope you are staring like that because you finally found a nice lady to bring home to me,'' Mr Gale said to Jason.
Jason jolted back for a moment and glanced at his father nervously.
''Dad, you startled me. When will you stop sneaking up on people?'' Jason asked his father with a faint trace of irritation.
