Chapter 8 They hurried across the plains, stopping only for brief rests when Koragi’s legs could carry her no further. By mid-morning, they saw the tall grey walls of Raitom. Standing at the top of a hill above a low valley, they saw an expanse of blue beyond the city. Koragi had never seen the Dragon Sea. She grew excited as its proximity dawned on her, but her fear of the great city tempered her enthusiasm. Raitom was a popular topic even amongst the villagers of Cordak.
