Chapter 20 Koragi remembered well the last time a dragon had carried her in flight, but Toport didn’t crush her in his claws as Sir Dieren’s dragon had. He lifted her with his claws and placed her on his back almost as soon as she stepped out from the cave. Huge spikes connected by membranes followed his spine, from the base of his skull to the end of his tail, torn and wrinkled in various places. She had no idea how he expected her to ride on his back as he flew. But he guided her to a nook under his left wing, where a harness lay wrapped around the base.
