CHAPTER FIVE

It has been a month since I was last bullied, things have changed in my life so far. Not only am I famous in school but i also move with the popular crowd. I recently found out i had fans in school that came together as a club.

Madeline, Felicia and Jennifer who i first made friends with in school are partly models along side with me in my mother's modeling company. In fact we have signed contracts outside the modeling house, it is surprising that the companies always sign us together.

it was and is still shocking knowing that people loved me but could not show it because they were scared getting burnt in James anger. Talking about James, we have not seen eye to eye let alone interact due to the fact that him and his friends along with the newbie and crew are on suspension because of the fight they fought in the cafeteria a month age.

But they are going to be in school today since the suspension time has been served completely. I don't know what/how my reaction to James would be cause am not that girl he abused anymore, in these past few weeks I have discovered that i have foolish in letting him bully me all these years. I could have stopped him but i allowed him to have such control in my life.

Am just arriving in school, it is not too packed with students so i presuming am early. After taking in my surrounding I quickly cut off the engine and stepped out of the car. it would have been perfect if not for the fact that I am caged from all angle by a crowd of students taking pictures and throwing questions at me from everywhere. Some were asking my makeup, clothes and accessories while some were confirming rumours of the latest movie we sighed for. I smiled at them answering what i can until I got to entrance of the school building where my friends are waiting for me.

I excused myself from the crowd and immediately joined my friends. we entered the building chatting about the new contract and places we were invited to and what our week would be like, when we got to my locker we took our respective books and departed to our separate ways. More like we regrouped because as soon as we turn our backs other people walked us to class asking question and friendship. That's how my life has been moving with everyone and I don't discriminate because everyone is equal whether popular or unpopular.

I don't have James in any class so I have not seen him but i know he is in school(rumours fly's quickly). Funny thing is he was seen arguing with Zack about who will be sitting with Jennifer ( my friend).

It was later at lunch period that James bust into the cafeteria looking very angry, he was looking around like he is searching for someone(to let his anger on). The way his eyes were darting around the cafe was scaring everyone except me because i am not in that level anymore and I was too busy enjoying my meal while looking at him.

His eye is still scanning the room, his eyes landed on me, passed me the came back to me again before he turn around probably to leave the room when he suddenly freeze, tensed then turned around slowing(maybe he is practice a role so he pass audition) . He looked at me walking towards me slowly and suspiciously/doubtfully. Almost three feet to me he stopped and looked behind me confused.

Am so sure he did not look behind me because of my "I don't care attitude" so i did the only logical thing i could think of, i turn around to see what's going on and boy am I surprised

Yes am sur..........shocked......., the whole students in the cafeteria were standing up, glaring daggers at him with crossed hands, if am not seeing thing then am sure they are defending me. It warmed my heart so much that I quickly composed myself and turn to James smiling devilishly with a smirk.

He was so shocked that he lost his anger immediately but somber up quickly disguising his shock face to a stern face.

" I have been looking for and here you are wrecked , even if you look different with lots of change you should know that you are nothing but the pathetic losser you were so get yourself up and follow me this minute before you get a bigger problem than what I have planed for you",James said not sure of his words due to the atmosphere around.

I murmured the word pathetic with a chuckle loud enough for him and the surrounding tables to hear. I waved my hands in the air as a sign for them(the crowd) to sit.

"oh James, that speech was a heart warming but am not the one who got suspended but you,.........so technically you are the one who needs the welcome back speech not me", I paused enjoying his reaction. He looks totally shocked with his mouth wide opened but am not through with him yet.

"please James close your mouth cause its not healthy.......and James you should know its not healthy to threaten someone who can make your whole life miserable.

You know that just a few right calls and complain can BOOM put you and your family into trouble so think your word thoroughly before voicing them in my presence next time",I concluded admiring my manicured fingers carelessly.

"You b***h I am....", I cut him off before he finish the nonsense he was about to blab.

"no names calling sweetheart, you know if you don't want to think about what these call will do then just think about what these wonderful people around me would do to you if you act wrongly", immediately I finished my prep talk the warn warning bell rang.

"we will meet again till then kudos", I said giving him a flying kiss before waving everyone else gratefully.

walking outside I discovered something........ even though am not a jerk I have taken the spotlight from James and that he fought for..

HE LOST TO ME EVEN THOUGH I NEVER FOUGHT FOR

Maybe....just maybe am going to enjoy my last year in high school.
