The Last Destination

CHAPTER 5: WUHAN CHINA

I'm here at my room, sitting on the veranda and looking to the beautiful surrounding.

Ring .... Ring....

It was my real mom.

“ Nǐ hǎo (Hello)” i said over the phone

“ Nín yǐjīng zài zhōngguóle ma? (Are you already here in china?) ” she said.

I walk inside to my bed and sit there.

“ Shì de. Míngtiān wǒ yào qù wǒmen de lǎo fángzi. (Yes. Tomorow i'm going to our old house.) ” i said.

“Dāngrán. Méi wèntí. (Sure. No problem.) ” she said.

“ Wǒ xiànzài guà duàn diànhuà, wǒ yào xiūxí yīxià. ( I will hang up now, i am going to take a rest. ) ” i said and wait for her last said.

“Hǎo de. Zàijiàn. ( Okay. Bye. ) ” she said then i hung up the phone.

I put my phone beside my pillow and take rest for a while.

Ding dong... Ding dong ...

Someone knocking the door so i stood up and open tha door ...

“Did i wake you up?” Suzette said.

“Sort of. Why? ” i ask her and she enter my room.

“ I'm hungry, you want to walk outside?” she ask me.

“ Sure. by the way where's mom and dad?” i ask because they did not visit me here at my room.

“ I was there before i came here, they said that they will order some food to eat and your mom said that i will go to you and we just eat outside.” she explained then i fix my self to get ready.

“ Okay, wait a second i will just wash my face.

After that we decide to go downstair and find some filipino restaurant here in china.

“Did you call your mother regarding that you are here in china? ” Suzette ask me while we are eating.

“ No, but she called me and i said that tomorrow i will go there. ” i said.

“What she said? ” she said.

“She said okay. By the way, do you want to come with me? ” i ask her because she didn't see my real mother even in a picture.

“ I would like too. How about tito and tita? ” she said.

“ They don't want to come, you know. ” i said.

“Ow, okay so they just came here to visit you here? ” she ask me.

“ Yes, because they won't agree if we just came along here. ” i said then we just continue eating.

Time flies, we arrive in our hotel and Suzette is here at my room to join me here because i was alone here, my dad and mom came here to check if we just eat and what we are doing after that they go because my dad has a zoom meeting with his co-bussines partner.

“ I'm bored M, what we should do?” she said while she's in my bed rolling back and forward while im here at my couch watching a movie.

“ Do you want to go outside? ” i ask her then she stood up and sit beside on me.

“ Where are we going? ” she ask.

“ Just walk around? ” i said then we left our hotel and go somewhere.

We just walk around here then we see a food court so we go there and eat some food.

“ Hey Z! Let's go to the Yellow Crane Tower, do you know that? ” i said.

“ I don't know, What place is that? ” she ask me then i explain what place is yellow crane tower and what to do there.

Climb The Yellow Crane Tower

Wuhan’s Yellow Crane Tower is the city’s most revered landmark. The building as it currently stands was erected in 1981; however this historical pagoda has been torn down and rebuilt more times than most people care to remember. Once a military watch tower, the five-floor structure now serves purely commemorative purposes. As a source of pride among locals, it’s a universally accepted truth that no trip to Wuhan is complete without climbing to the fifth floor and checking out the bird’s-eye view.

“ Omg! Let's go there, im super exciting! really we will climb to the fifth floor tower? ” she ask me.

“ Yes and actually it's my first time to climb there. ” i said the we grab a cab and go to the yellow crane tower.

After a minutes ago, we are already here and we are excited to climb there and we just ready our drinks because i'm sure before we climb at the fifth floor we are exhauted already and thirst.

By the way, i call my mom if they want to come here but they refuse because my dad are not yet done in he's zoom meeting.

“Oh my god! look at the view it was a very beautiful here. ” she said then i take some picture and post it on my social media with the hashtag Part two of travelling with my friend here in china.

“My god, Im already tired! ” she said.

We are done climbing here and i was thinking if where's the next destination we should go.

“ What's the next destination M? Im excited! ” she said.

“ I was thinking. ” i said then ....

“

I know what's the next destination, It's a perfect time because it's already dark and the show is starting... ” i said to her and grab her to the cab.

“ Where are we going? ” she ask.

“ We are watching the han show here. ” i said and her eyes just twinkled.

“ I know that! I've been searching that before we flight here in china. ” she said in excitement.

Watch the Han Show

Inspired by the Chu-Han Dynasty, the City of Wuhan and the spirit of the Han nationality, this theatrical, acrobatic water spectacle is a unique and unmissable experience. The show takes place inside a stadium which was custom-built to resemble a Chinese-lantern. The building itself, often described as an architectural marvel, is enough to get the crowd excited. Launched in Wuhan in 2014, this stunning performance is the brainchild of renowned theatre director, Franco Dragone, also known for his involvement in Cirque du Soleil.

We are here and we are lucky because the show is just started.

“ Look Z, the show is acrobatic water. Is it fun? ” i said to her.

But when i look to Suzette, she's not here at my side. Why did she left me without saying a word? this girl is crazy! she leave me alone here.

So, I look for her because she didn't know this place.

While walking around someone bump to me ....

“ Duìbùqǐ nǚshì. ( I'm sorry lady ) ” the man who just bump me.

Then i look at him and i was shock, why? because he's the one that who bump me in Singapor.

When he saw my face he litteraly shock too.

“ Yòu shì nǐ? Zhè shì nín dì sān cì zhuàng dào wǒ, hái jìdé zài xīnjiāpō ma? ( You again?This is the third time that you bump me, remember in Singapore? ) ” i said to him and i just roll my eyes on him.

“ Duìyú jīntiān hé jīntiān xīnjiāpō fāshēng de yīqiè, wǒ gǎndào fēicháng bàoqiàn. Shùnbiàn shuō yījù, wǒ shì zhū Richard wén. ( I am really sorry for what happen in singapore and today.By the way, I'm Richard Chu. ) ” he said and he offer he' hand to do shake hands so i grab it.

“ Wǒ shì Marie Love Yap, qǐng nín xià cì duōjiā zhùyì. Kàn kàn zhōuwéi shìfǒu yǒurén, yǐmiǎn zhuàng dào tā/tā. ( I am Marie Love Yap and i forgive you just please be careful next time.Look around if there's a people so that you will not bump he/she. ) ” i said and he just smile.

“Wǒ huì de. Shùnbiàn wèn yīxià, wǒ néng dédào nǐ de diànhuà ma? Zhèyàng wǒ jiù kěyǐ wéi nín hē kāfēi huò yīxiē yǐnliào. ( I will.By the way, can i get your number?so that i can treat you a coffee or some drinks. ) ” he ask so i give to him my calling card and he said thank you and said good bye to me.

This time i know who he is and im lucky because he want's me to talk/ invite.

I forget, i will looking for Suzette!

I was walking around and i see Suzette here at the food park while she's happy eating.

“ Why did you leave me alone? ” i ask her then she is shock.

“ Im sorry M, i just go to the public cubicle then i saw this food park. ” she said and she gave me some food.

“ Why you didn't tell me? ” i ask her and sit beside her.

“ I can't hold it back, so i run. ” she said.

After we eat, we decide to go in our hotel because it was too dark outside and my dad text me that i need to go because it was too late already.

“ Bye M! See you in the morning. Be ready! ” she said.

“ Yes i will, Bye! ” i said and open the door and get some rest because tomorrow is the day that i will see my mom after a year past.
