Austin and I walk down the halls of the hospital towards Jake’s room. We stop at the crossroads. “He may not have the same room since the operation, I’ll ask the staff.” I look around for a nurse, but all I can see is the lanky figure of Luke Jordon. He turns at the corner of a corridor. A woman in her sixties is holding on to his arm. Luke doesn’t seem to have seen us. I head towards Luke and greet him.
