The morning sun slanted through the kitchen windows, casting a warm glow over the room. Rory stood at the stove, humming softly as she flipped pancakes and stirred a pot of oatmeal. Strong arms encircled her waist from behind, and she felt the press of Sam's lips against her neck. "Mmm, something smells delicious," he murmured. Rory grinned, leaning into his embrace. "The food, or me?" Sam chuckled. "Both. Definitely both." Rory turned to face him, looping her arms around his neck. "Well, lucky for you, I'm serving up a double helping this morning.
