Chapter 19

*Night's POV*

My smile fell seeing her run away from me like i was a threat to her. i can't understand the mystery she is.

i sometimes wonder if she even belongs to this world. that bossy attitude, that smirk she always have when she kicks my butt and the powerful aura of her. i always saw her energetic, bold and carefree which i loved but when i saw her face and the sadness and worry on it my heart broke.

i was even more concerned when she said she was okay while her eyes were screaming that she wasn't.

I understand that she don't like me but she doesn't have to hide her feelings. 

she doesn't have to hide when something is wrong.

if she needs space i shall give it to her. its her right! 

but i can't see her unhappy.

i like my wife all lively , naughty and what they call a bad a*s b***h. 

I got up from where my wife left me and got ready. 

skipping breakfast i went towards the carriage where Enola was already waiting.

 she was looking appetizing in her A line body cone lilac colored dress . only God knows how i control myself.

i was lost in checking her out that i didn't notice the weird clock in her hands.

We both got on carriage as it proceeded to Home.

i kept silent the entire ride giving Enola the space she needs or at least i think she needs. 

"Thank You!" 

I heard her using her sweet voice to thank me.

I could only smile like an i***t.

She took a deep breath as if she was gathering her courage and spoke

"Sorry about earlier. i shouldn't have ran away like that" 

"Why did you ran away?" 

i asked 

she stared at me for a moment

"i was always taught to be tough. to never let anyone know i was not okay,to never show my weakness. showing weakness means i am weak"

my heart twitched at her reply

What kind of s**t had she went through in her fathers home?

I took her hand in mine startling her a bit and spoke

"Enola! not being okay is okay. you are human. its natural to go through s**t. Its okay to have a break. everyone has weakness and hiding it is okay but showing it doesn't mean you are weak. it means that you have been hiding it for too long and need a break" 

She stared at me with a look i can't understand and then she started leaning in i thought she was going to kiss me on cheeks ibut instead she kissed me on my lips.

i froze at her sudden move and watch her ran out of the carriage.

that is when i realized we have reached our destination.

i got off carriage grinning like an i***t.

she truly is unpredictable!
