“where the hell did you even learn that?” Night’s question made me realize the stupidity of my actions. i can’t answer that question. I can’t let them know.
“ummmm I…..i used to play with a guard when I was young. They taught me all this” that was a pure lie but please believe it. they both looked at me trying to figure out whether I was telling the truth or not.
They both shared a look and my stomach twisted. I knew that look was not a good sign
“Can we meet this guard?” Shade asked and I started panicking
“ummmm he died” I again lied
“does he have a family?” Night asked. why these two people are interrogating me like I am a criminal?
“I don’t know” I replied.
