CHAPTER 7 | ANGELA FINDS THE TRUTH

2 months later

Angela was very busy. She was very busy with hospital duties, diagnosing patients, etc. But there was a strange change in Angela’s behavior. Day by day, her mood was becoming bad, as if a strange restlessness surrounded her. Angela was by no means at peace. Angela could never forget what happened to Andrew and his entire family. Calm and generous, Angela was burning with vengeance. She really wanted to know who the doctor was that caused Andrew to be like this.

And these things were happening to Angela because of not taking medicine. Angela hadn’t taken any psychiatric medication since the night she met Andrew. After Andrew came into Angela’s life, he was so happy that Angela forgot about his mental illness. Andrew also wasn't aware of anything about Angela’s mental illness. And the incident that happened to Andrew and his family left a scar on Angela’s mind.

While all of that was going on, one day Angela decided that she would find out the identity of that doctor, at any cost.

“ Enough is enough! I can’t do this anymore. I have to find out the identity of that cruel doctor.”

Angela found some files in that old building when she ordered the construction company to build the new hospital. Angela went to the basement and started looking for them. After checking various files, she found the register book from 1995. Angela checked the entries of doctors from February 5, 1995. There was a doctor named Mulgannon.

Then Angela found another file that had the bio-data of all the doctors at that hospital. As Angela flipped through a few pages of the file, her whole body became freezing cold. Angela was stunned.

“ Bi… Bill Mulgannon! He… so he is the reason…”

Angela’s eyes were full of tears. She was so nervous, she felt dizzy. Angela was acting like crazy. Angela remembered the painful memories of the past.

Bill is Angela’s stepbrother. Angela’s father had two weddings. Bill is Angela’s father’s first child from his first wife. And Angela is the only child of the second wife.

Bill and his mother could not stand Angela and her mother at all. Especially Angela. Bill has a very bad temper. Bill has bullied and beat Angela since her childhood. Bill tortured Angela so much physically and mentally that Angela has a mental breakdown. Angela locked herself in the house in fear whenever she saw Bill. Angela kept herself imprisoned in her room for 3 years. At one point, Angela’s mother took her to another city. After a long period of counseling and medication, Angela recovered. But today Angela remembered those memories again.

“So Bill is responsible for the unfortunate consequences for Andrew and his entire family? Bill was the murderer of my love! If he had done the treatment of Andrew’s mom, Andrew would be alive now! This all happened because of him?”

“ Bill Mulgannon…. Angela screamed in anger. You destroyed a family, pushed them to death! You have to suffer the consequences. Your fate will be very bad. I swear I will make you taste the dust!”

Angela decided to teach Bill a lesson. Angela couldn’t control herself at all. Her mental illness was hitting back at her. Due to not taking medicine, her insanity had set in again. Anger, revenge, hatred ran through Angela’s veins. Angela was burning with vengeance. She would take revenge for killing Andrew & his family.

Angela did not let Andrew understand anything about all this. She was just waiting for the right time. Since Andrew was a spirit, he couldn’t be with Angela all the time. And while Andrew was away, Angela spent her time searching for all the information about Bill.

The next day;

Andrew’s mind seemed to be restless. He felt like something bad was going to happen. He repeatedly felt that Angela would go somewhere far away from him.

“Ahh… what’s going on? What happened to me? Why am I feeling so strange? Why do I keep thinking that will go far away from me? Is this some kind of sign?”

Andrew quickly ran into Angela. He was so concerned about Angela.

“Hey Angela! What are you doing now? Can you please give me some moments? I have to talk with you.”

“Sure, honey! What happened? Why are you looking so stressed out?”

Andrew pulled Angela closer to him & embraced her.

“Promise me, Angela, you’ll never leave me! You will always stay beside me.”

“ Of course Andrew! Why would I leave you? I promise you I will stay beside you till eternity. Don’t have doubt in my love. I love you always & forever.”

“No Angela, it’s not like that, I don’t doubt your love. For the past couple of days I have been feeling like something bad is going to happen. I feel like I’m going to lose you!”

“ Don’t worry, Andrew, I am not going anywhere. You feel this because you are so concerned about me. Just relax, Ok?”

“Ok Angela. Please be careful. I can’t lose you! You are the reason why I didn’t leave this world till now.”

“Ok, I will. Now I’m going to the hospital. See you later.

Angela left the house. Andrew was standing. Angela soothed him, but there was still a strange uneasiness. Andrew thought “Angela might be right. I was overthinking.” Andrew ignored his thoughts.

On That Night:

Angela was also feeling that something was about to happen. She doesn’t even know why she feels like that. Maybe because she was about to punish Bill for his deeds. Andrew was not in the house, he seemed to have gone somewhere. Angela felt like she needed to spend some special time with Andrew today, if she could ever do it again? Angela took out a beautiful pink gown from the closet. Angela looked so beautiful in the gown. Then Angela did light makeup. Then she decorated her room with candles. After that, Angela waited for Andrew.

After a while, Andrew appeared in Angela’s room. Looking at Angela, Andrew was completely mesmerized. He felt like an fairy was standing in front of him. Beautiful wavy hair, two eyes like the blue sea, beautiful clothes all together make Angela look beautiful. Andrew heard a lot about fairies in his childhood. Today he saw a fairy in real life. Andrew walked over to Angela.

“Angela,” said Andrew.

“Yes?” replied Angela.

Andrew just stood there staring at her. She looked as lovely as a fairy that she actually made Andrew forget what he wanted to say. Then, finally, Andrew remembered.

“ How pretty you are! You look so gorgeous. My love!”

“Really? Thank you. I did all this for you. I thought that I should spend some special time with you. Let’s go. We will dance together.”

“Yeah! I can see. When I was a kid, mom told me stories about fairies. She told me that fairies are really beautiful & kind. They help human. When I heard that, I wished to see a fairy in real life. Today, my wish comes true, a real fairy is standing in front of me!”

“ Oh my God? How many times will you make me feel special, Andrew? Thank you so much my love. You are an angel too. Let’s go & dance! I just can’t wait!”

Angela had a small sound box. She played her favorite song

*My Heart Will Go On*

Angela began to dance with Andrew. They both look very pretty together. The moment was very special for both Angela & Andrew. They were dancing in joy, happiness and love.

Their relationship was a strange relationship between a human and an insatiable soul. But their love bond is stronger & more beautiful than the love bond between two humans. Their love was eternal love. That was pure love. Yes, they were in a bound, extreme romance was forbidden between them, but still Angela was OK with it. She gave her priority to Andrew’s pure love over her needs. Her needs became useless in front of Andrew’s love. For Andrew, she was his everything.

Angela & Andrew kissed each other. They both started enjoying the beautiful moment. Angela was very happy that night. But she can’t be too happy. Ever since she found out that Bill was the murderer Andrew and her entire family, Angela’s peace of mind was destroyed. Angela was at peace after spending some special time with Andrew that day. But she also had a great responsibility on her, the responsibility of punishing Andrew’s murderer that she needed to fulfill at any cost!
