“Are you sure?” I asked Peyton as I looked over her numbers. I didn’t even have to ask because she was the most capable Capitan that I have and if she said thirty of our members were missing then thirty were missing.
“Yes sir. I triple counted and then I had the other captains triple count. In the last week, all of these people have disappeared without a trace. I took the liberty of dispatching a few trackers when I first noticed, but they’ve come back with nothing,” she said as she stood tall in front of my desk.
“f**k,” I grumbled under my breath. I can’t imagine people just up and leaving their families without a word. Something shady was going on and I was going to get to the bottom of it. I ran my hand through my overgrown hair and down my face
