"I honestly didn't even know Lucas was your boyfriend when all that happened," I said softly, trying to take a step towards Vanilla. But she held up her hands, telling me to stop right where I was.
"You disgusting piece of trash! You're telling me you didn't know you were sleeping with someone else's boyfriend?" she spat out, her voice shaking with anger. "Why can't you just be honest for once?”
"Vanilla, please, just go home," Lucas said, moving quickly towards her. But then, something I didn't expect happened. Vanilla's hand flew out and landed a hard slap across Lucas's face.
