The continuous beat of drums and chatters, the screaming and howling of wolves echoed in my ear as my eyes shot up. The drum triggered the memory of Dad being shot as I moved to the edge of the bed trying to get myself in order, I gasped and choked out of my throat. I ran to the bathroom to wash my face. I came back to the room before looking through the window, it was still dark, it felt like it was the middle of the night, there were more than a hundred cheering wolves.
