Leo ignored Rena's cries and continued to drive forward. However, she grabbed on to his arm just as he was making a turn off the highway. Finally, she could see that he had a plan.
Rena saw that Leo wasn't driving towards the fire and placed a hand on her chest, feeling relieved. She was so nervous that he was going to put them in danger.
A few minutes later, Leo stopped the car but said nothing. It was quiet inside the car for a minute before he said, "Don't worry, I have already called the police. They will come soon with the firemen, as the fire has spread to three other cars." His words sounded tired.
Rena opened a bottle of water and gave it to Leo. Instead of drinking it right away, he stared at her.
"Why are you staring at me?" Rena asked, puzzled.
