Lucy's parents felt a little hopeful when they learned that Leo got his lawyer involved.
"Now, can you get out of my way?" Leo asked Mr. Carter impatiently. He went around the car to open the door for Rena before he climbed back into the driver's seat.
After he started the car, Mr. and Mrs. Carter stepped away from the vehicle and let him leave without incident.
While he stopped at a red light, Leo called his lawyer and told him to make sure that Lucy received the worst punishment.
Soon after he returned home, Leo sat down on the sofa and took out his laptop. He had a lot of work to do.
