CHARLOTTE'S POV.
After about thirty minutes or close to one hour, Lucas and the person in charge of the security footage were still discussing, and it made me even more nervous. I didn't know the conversation, but it was taking too long, longer than it should have. Was the man playing smart, or had he refused to give it out? I stood outside, wondering.
Well, that wasn't a choice. If he refuses, he will be coerced to let go of that particular footage or get blackmailed to do so. Thankfully, after ten more minutes, Lucas walked out of the room and started to walk in my direction.
