"How may I assist you, Lily?" I asked, the only question I could muster.
She stared at me with a mix of hatred, envy, and contempt. It was clear that she despised me, and honestly, if I were in her shoes, I might feel the same.
"Are you here once again to meddle in things you weren't asked to do?" she sneered at me.
