Taylor's POV.
It has been a full week since the wedding was called off. I know why it happened and who was responsible, but I didn't care to question the how or why of it. I simply played my part. On that day, the announcement was made on a national broadcast, and it revolved around my mother's reputation. I couldn't comprehend why they had to center it around her. They claimed she ran a strip club while I was away at school, and they didn't want someone like her as the president's son's mother-in-law. Why did the president have to make it seem like my mother was the cause for calling off the wedding? I hope that in the future, when my mother learns the truth, she won't feel hurt that I knew about all of it.
