Eric's pov.
Carina lapsed into silence after she finished her conversation with Kenneth, and I waited quietly beside her, waiting for her to take it upon herself to tell me all about it.
Carina put down the glass in her hand as if she had made a huge decision: "I'm going to go back first, I have work that I need to take care of."
"Sure, but can you tell your husband roughly what happened?"
"Nothing," I caught Carina's frown as she weighed her words, "We had a little problem at the studio and I need to get back to talk about where I'm going."
"Such things can be big or small, so since it's a problem with your work, hurry back. If you need help, don't forget there's still me."
"I know."
After watching the helicopter Carina was on disappear into the wilderness, I stretched
