My hasten feet meet up with Alpha Kryptos who already have anger written across his face. He is indeed an impatient man.
“Did Helena do what she said she would?” His eyes scan through me like they are trying to mine precious stones from my body.
“Yeah. She did what was needed.”
“So fast?” Demonstrating with hand gestures, “Thought she will need to spread your legs and put her head in-between.” He sounds innocent. And his demonstration makes a soft laugh settle on my lips.
A laugh I don’t desire cos my heart is still heavy with fear. “She did all that,” unknowingly, the words casually dance off my lips.
“I’m glad she carried out her job properly. Come, let’s go home,” he says with a warm smile. As much as my old husband didn't spill out the words, but behind his eyes, I can see the
