Chapter 2:A Child's Fun

I have learned how to talk a little, hobble, and maneuver  my arms. The  problems of the whole learning how to do everything is hindering my process of looking for May. I spend a lot of my time trying to crawl to different places when my legs get tired of hobbling everywhere. I am slowly getting better at writing unbeknown to my parents and sister.

~I shift  my focus to the original world.~

I slowly look around. This is a big shift in my brain, but I am pretty used to it by now since i have been doing world shifting for years. I have multiple worlds that I live in. Of course, I can't  reveal all of it to you, but this one shouldn't be bad. I  reach for my phone and find Oli in my contacts he has been my friend for a couple years now. We have the same knack for world shifting. I pull' a lot of s**t with him. We use our world shifting abilities to have loads of hangouts all the time. I call him up.

"Hey sis," Oli says.

"Bro what up," I reply.

"Jamie finally talked to me," Oli says.

"Oh s**t no way," I say," did she finally get ungrounded."

Oli chuckles, and I go and say" yeeeeeesssss. Now this rules! By the way I got my self in that world."

Oli goes silent.

"The one we were talking bout yesterday," I say with slight disbelief that he didn't remember.

"Oh yeah where are you," Oli says.

"I'm not to sure man, but I have a sister named Alice." I say a little fogged."

"I know somebody named Alice!"Oli says excitedly," she's the b***h that tried to steal my man."

I retort,"She doesn't seem that bad to me but I guess my sister could still be her since i was born in a werewolf pack."

We both continue to talk for a few hours and I decide to continue exploring the world till I can find May. Yeah I know what your thinking. I can still control multiple bodies at once, and I did not stop talking to him. Oh and just to clarify: Oli is a female werewolf in the world I put myself in called May. We can't choose who, what, when, how, or where we are born.

~Back to my other world.~

I stand up and hobble to my play room. I start playing with the blocks. Come on who wouldn't want to. I grab the sticks I collected and bite one of them to stop the pain in my jaw as I use the rest of them to build. I hear Alice sigh in the hallway and I quickly swat at the sticks and giggle. I can't have her thinking I'm not a normal baby.  Alice storms in and flops on the rocking chair. I sit there staring at her stunned. I quickly go back to playing with sticks. I stay silent so as not to aggravate her. I lay the sticks to form a house, and I move to a new spot and use the sticks to train my plushy army. I get that plushies  don't have the ability to move on their own, but I had them lined up like they were. I used my imagination to run my troops to Mexico to stop  the illegal drugs from being transported. I don't really know how the American soldiers do it, but it is how I imagine it. I glance at Alice. she looks visibly calmer.

"Hey sissy!" I excitedly hobble over.

Alice smiles softly as I try my hardest to walk over. BAM! I tripped over a block that I had left. I start to tear up. that really hurt. I look up at her and smile.

"I ok sissy," I assure her as I stand up. I continue to hobble toward her, and she picks me up.

" Hey baby April," she says as she curls me onto her hip," Do you wanna go see mommy? She is making cookies."

I nod softly. I love the smell of mommy's cookies. Alice hikes me up once more before she brisk walks into the hall. Braiden and Chet walk past us in the hall. Braiden nods while Chet bows his head in acknowledgement of the heirs to the alpha line. We see mom bending down in front of the oven as we walk in the Leader's commons area.Dad is already sitting at the table. Alice sits me on the table,and I sit there calmly twiddling my feet. Mother's pale reddish face with blackish eyes turn toward me her jet black hair falling behind. Mother smiles at me as she walks up with a cookie. I put my hands out and she gives me a hug.

"Not yet buddy," Mom states.

I whine," Mooom please."

Mom sets it on the plate of food next to me,"Wait."

I look towards my lap for a second then look back where footsteps had begun sounding.

"Buhbuh!" I shout excitedly. The tall man with short brunet hair  and light blueish green eyes came forward.

"Hey Teeny!" Buhbuh picks me up in a strong hug," Missed yah!"

Alice turns towards us cookie in hand,"Pack business over?"

"Eh. Just about." says Buhbuh," Juniper's still pullin' a fit."

"When is she not," says Mom and Alice simultaneously.

I abruptly giggle. Everyone looks at me. Buhbuh shifts a little,"Anyone hungry?"He motions to the empty plates and pots full of food on the table.

I make grabby hands at the table," Food please."

Buhbuh sits me back on the table and fills two plates before sitting beside me. I point at the green stuff on my plate. He cuts it up and feeds me a piece. It tastes sweet and tart with a little bit of lemon. i hum in delight. He feeds me more. I point at the spoon.

Buhbuh smiles,"You wanna try again huh."

I reply," yeah I wanna eat by myself."

Buhbuh hands me the spoon and I relish at holding the spoon with my tiny fingers. Buhbuh goes to eating his own food. I put a napkin in my lap. I go for the mashed rice. I learned from last time and didn't put a lot on my spoon. I did it. I squealed and ate my food. a chorus of claps washed over my ears. I can't believe it took me this long. I smiled brightly and continued eating. Yes I ate the cookie. Delicious! Afterwards we head outside. I dig in the dirt and enjoy the smells of the earth. Then, I go around the yard and find sticks and a ball. I put the sticks in the yard and throw the ball at it.

Alice walks up"Whatcha doing there April."

" I'm throw the ball at different places in the yard. Wanna play with me?" I say.

" Sure how do I play?" Alice inquires

I point at one of the sticks in the yard and explain. You see to play this game we have to put a lot of sticks around the yard then stand on one spot to see how many sticks you can hit. you pick up the stick you hit eat time and once the yard is clean of sticks you reset it. I used to play this inside but i got in trouble for it. I still have yet to hit every one in the yard.We play for a little while until I get tired. I fall asleep as dad takes me up to bed.
