Drago's Point of View
“Damn, dude, what did you do to our Luna?” I asked, picking up Rose from the car. She was completely out of it, her head lolling against my shoulder as I carried her inside.
“Why is it my fault?” Draco whined, following closely behind.
“Weren’t you there to protect her? Look how tired she is. If I didn’t know better, I’d think she went out for training instead of shopping.” My voice came out harsher than I intended.
“Look, you go with them next time! The only ones who had fun were those three crazy she-wolves, and Auntie was constantly pushing me to Miranda and Natilia. May I add it was extremely annoying since there was nothing unique about either of them besides recently graduating from FIDM in California. Those Shadows insisted we visit all forty-five stores, and don’t get me started on the crap they bought! Though you’d be proud of our girl here. She played along well and diplomatically convinced Auntie that she didn’t need anything but the presents and, to compromise, bought one complete outfit, which made Auntie very happy.”
“Oh, which reminds me.” My brother looked at me carefully. “Rose, in her weariness, agreed to a private outing with Fredrick on Wednesday and a lunch with his brother Smithy tomorrow.”
I tucked Rose into her bed before turning to my brother. “Okay,” I tried to sound emotionless.
“That’s all you can say?” Draco shot back, his irritation evident.
“What else am I supposed to say, Draco? She is our Luna and needs to meet the council’s requirements.” I kept my tone even, though my insides churned at the thought of her being with anyone else.
“You are hopeless, man. Both Dia and I know you have feelings for Rose. Why don’t you—”
“Rose deserves to find her destined mate, and that’s the end of this discussion. I want to go for a run now.” My brother nodded, giving me a frustrated look as I brushed past him, heading toward my favorite spot in the forest for some privacy to shift.
If my brother only knew that Rose had already asked me to marry her, he would hound me until my dying breath. Though Rose was beyond special to me, I couldn’t accept her offer, and the thought of her spending quality time with any man made me seethe with jealousy. But I had no right to tell her for many reasons.
First off, I found my mate, who was Sasa, but I couldn’t handle how vile she was. Though Dante, my wolf, wanted her, I did not. Luckily, Sasa wasn’t thrilled either because being bound to a blind wolf destined to be a beta forever was not what she wanted. We both rejected each other, but unfortunately for her, the Star Clan’s secret protects us from feeling the pain of rejection. Sasa, on the other hand, had to leave her pack and vanish for three months just to overcome the rejection pain.
Secondly, Sasa was right—who would want a blind wolf? Even though I can see through my other senses, Rose deserved a strong, complete wolf who could become the Star Clan’s Alpha. I had made up my mind already; once our pack and territory were stable, I would mark a female rogue. I wouldn’t let anyone change my mind—not even my precious Rose.
As I stepped into the moonlit forest, I closed my eyes, letting the familiar sounds and scents wash over me. The rustle of leaves, the soft hoot of an owl in the distance, and the crisp scent of pine filled the air. Shifting was always a release, a way to shed the weight of expectations. I welcomed the change, my bones shifting and elongating, my senses sharpening. The world transformed as I became one with the night, my wolf racing through the trees, free from the burdens of my human life.
But even in my wolf form, I couldn’t escape the gnawing feeling in my gut. Rose. The thought of her filled my mind as I bounded through the underbrush. Her laughter, her strength, the way she carried the weight of her responsibilities with grace—it all drew me in, a force I couldn’t resist. She was destined for greatness, and I couldn’t shake the fear that I wouldn’t be enough for her.
After a while, I slowed my pace, my wolf instinctively finding a clearing where the moon shone bright. I sat down, panting slightly, my heart racing not just from the run but from the turmoil inside me. I knew I had to protect her, to support her, but I also needed to find my own path—one that didn’t lead back to Sasa or a life of regret.
As I stared up at the stars, I made a silent promise to myself: I would be there for Rose, no matter the cost. Even if it meant sacrificing my own desires for her happiness.
Fredrick's Point of View
"My father is a fool," I thought bitterly as Sasa stormed into my office, slamming the door behind her. “That b***h!” she yelled, pacing back and forth. Normally, I’d indulge her, admiring her fierce beauty and potent wolf, but my head was already pounding from a day filled with nagging from my parents, preparations for the council meeting, and upcoming events to display the pack's strength.
“Babe, they picked on me! When your mom wasn’t around, Rose had them do it! She even agreed to go on a date with you! Can you believe that? That weak b***h is still making things hard for us.” Sasa's voice grated on my nerves.
“Calm down,” I said, walking over to her. “Rose and I mutually agreed to the rejection. She’s not strong enough to be Luna of this pack.” I caressed her face, my voice softening as I stroked her ego. "You, however, are strong. You are powerful, beautiful... and perfect for me."
The corner of Sasa's mouth curled into a smug smile as I pulled her into my arms. "Besides, her pack won't last much longer once they leave. Play nice with her subordinates, and we’ll pick them off easily.”
Though my words were meant to soothe her, deep down, I knew Sasa’s personality left much to be desired. But she was strong, capable, and far better suited as Luna than the fragile, fading Rose.
Sasa pouted, but I leaned in and placed a few kisses along her neck, brushing my lips over the spot where one day I might mark her. She melted under my touch. “If it will make you happy,” she finally muttered, defeated.
"That’s my girl." I smirked and slid my hand up her thigh, feeling her instant desire.
Her body tensed as my hand slid further up her thigh, her heat undeniable even through the fabric of her dress. I gripped her firmly, my fingers slipping past the thin lace of her panties, already soaked. She was ready, eager—her wetness clinging to my fingers as I rubbed slow, deliberate circles over her swollen c**t. Sasa whimpered, her hips pushing back against my hand, desperate for more.
I pushed her roughly against the desk, flipping her dress up over her hips and tearing her panties down with one swift motion. The sound of fabric ripping only made her wetter. I could feel it, slick and hot against my skin as I teased her entrance, drawing out her moans.
"Look how ready you are for me," I whispered, my voice thick with desire. She whimpered again, her body quivering under my touch. I thrust into her with one smooth, powerful motion, and she gasped, her walls tightening around me, wet and warm. I set a rough, punishing pace, the slick sound of our bodies colliding filling the room, each thrust sending waves of pleasure through her.
The desk shook beneath us, papers scattering as I gripped her hips, pulling her back onto me harder. Her cries became louder, desperate, her wetness coating me with every movement. "Fredrick!" she screamed, her voice hoarse as she neared the edge.
I thrust deeper, feeling her orgasm building. With one final, powerful stroke, I felt her walls clench around me, her body trembling violently as she came, wet and wild, her juices dripping down her thighs. The sensation was too much, and I came inside her with a growl, filling her completely.
Sasa collapsed onto the desk, panting, her legs still trembling as I pulled out, her slickness dripping from me. I zipped my pants and looked down at her, satisfied. She was mine to control, mine to dominate, just as it should be. A deep satisfaction washed over me- Power and dominance—this was the way of the wolf.
Sasa tried to stand fixing but wobbled slightly as she fixed herself. “Thanks, babe. I still got work to do, I’ll join you in a bit,” I said with a smirk. She limped from the office, her pride bruised but her desire to please me stronger than ever.
I leaned back in my chair, allowing the remnants of pleasure to settle. The day’s earlier frustrations seemed to melt away, but a deeper unease simmered beneath the surface. My father and Franklin had always placed a heavy emphasis on unity and peace, believing that strength could be forged through alliances. It was a foolish notion, one I had no intention of perpetuating.
In this world, only the strong survive, and the weak deserve to be crushed beneath our boots. Rose was a perfect example of that weakness, a fading star in a night filled with brighter lights.
My thoughts drifted back to the council meeting. “Time to show them who truly deserves power,” I muttered to myself, feeling the familiar rush of ambition flood my veins.
My plan was simple. With Rose distracted by the visiting clans, I could use the council meeting to undermine her authority subtly. A few well-placed comments to sow doubt about her leadership would do the trick. Once the Star Clan was disbanded, I would step in, and take the members I wanted- like the triplets.
The more I plotted, the more I reveled in the power I could wield. I could almost taste it—sweet and intoxicating. My vision of a powerful future began to solidify, but I needed to ensure Sasa remained compliant. If she began to think too much, it could lead to complications.
Rising from my chair, I paced the room, letting the scent of my recent conquest linger in the air. Sasa had her uses, but the bigger picture was at stake. I couldn’t afford any distractions or mistakes. I needed to keep her focused and loyal.
The night air cooled my heated thoughts as I stepped outside needing to clear my head. The moon hung high in the sky, casting silver light over the woods, and I welcomed the isolation. I took a moment to breathe deeply, allowing the crisp scent of pine and damp earth to invigorate me.
Then, I felt it—an unsettling shift in the air. I glanced around but saw nothing. “Just the wind,” I muttered, trying to shake off the unease.
