For the next hour, Rypere and I walked, and I told him about my life here at the pack. He growled when I told him about the bullying. I took his hand into mine, placing it on my cheek to calm him down, and I could sense him calming down.
I tried to get him to talk, but he didn’t say much. Mostly one-word answers and said something that made no sense. Crown? Prince? Duke? Duchess? What does he mean by that? The only royalty I know is of course dad, but also the Faes and Dragons. Are there more royalties in the supernatural world?
My phone went off, and it was mom, messaging me, asking where I was. I lost track of time walking with Rypere, just spending time with him. Quickly, I texted mom back, telling her I would be home shortly, and put my phone away.
