continuation~ "This is unbelievable," Kevin says, his tone still quiet and stunned. "Mr. Johnson was the nicest man on the planet!" Alex nods in agreement, while I continue to stare at the demon with a mix of fascination, fear, and disbelief. "Why is he here?" Alex asks, his voice filled with confusion and curiosity. "What does he want?" The demon slowly takes off his hood, revealing a face that is kind and familiar, yet strangely sinister. "I am here to warn," the demon says, his voice a strange mixture of sincerity and menace."Warn?" Alex asks, his voice filled with suspicion and curiosity. "Warn us about what?" The demon's voice grows darker, and his face hardens. "I am here to warn you about your destiny," he says, his tone serious and grave. "You were chosen, long ago, to become a messenger for the underworld." Alex gasps in shock, looking at me in confusion and fear. "A messenger?" I say, my own voice growing tense as I feel my mind racing. "W-what do you mean?" The demon speaks to us and presents us with a revelation. "The reason you were able to break free from the cycle of reincarnation is because you all were the kings of the lost kingdoms," the demon informs us. "Kingdoms that were once filled with peace and prosperity, but were betrayed and forgotten with time." This revelation left us breathless and deep in thought. If this was the reason behind our ability to defy the cycle of reincarnation, then what became of these ancient kingdoms? And who was responsible for this betrayal? We knew that there were more layers to this mystery yet to be uncovered. My mind reels with the weight of the demon's revelation, my heart racing with confusion and disbelief. Alex and I look at each other with wide eyes, trying to process this shocking new information. "We're..." I begin, but I can't bring myself to finish the sentence. My mind and body become overwhelmed with the sudden realization, and I feel the room swirling around me. I stumble and try to catch my balance, but the world continues to spin as colors and shapes swirl before me in a dizzying blur. I lose my footing, feeling the ground slipping away beneath my feet, and fall to the ground unconscious. Alex and Kevin watch with concern as I fall to the ground unconscious, the world spinning around me. They rush over to me, their voices filled with fear and worry. "Are you okay?" Alex asks, rushing to my side. "Kevin calls out, "What do we do? What do we do?!" As they rush over to me, I lie there unconscious, unable to answer their questions. I hear their voices, but they are distant and faint, as if the world is spinning around me in a dream. The last thing I remember is the demon's words of revelation... I slowly come to, my head pounding with a headache and my vision swimming with stars. I blink and look up, seeing Alex and Kevin staring down at me with concern. They both look exhausted, as if they've been by my side for hours. "You okay?" Alex asks, his voice sounding tired and worried. I slowly nod, still feeling slightly disoriented. "What...what happened?" I ask, my voice sounding raspy and dry. Alex and Kevin both look at me with concern. "We don't know," Alex says, "We just found you on the ground unconscious."I sit up slowly, my mind filled with uncertainty and doubt. "It was just a dream...just a dream," I tell myself silently, trying to convince myself of the truth. I get to my feet, trying to shake off the strangeness of the experience. Alex and Kevin also stand up, looking at me with concern. "Are you okay?" Alex asks, hid voice filled with genuineconcern. I nod slowly, my head still swimming with confusion and disbelief. "What...what happened?" I manage to ask, my mind still reeling from what seemed like a surreal dream."We just found you on the floor unconscious," Alex says, sounding worried. "You looked like you were having a nightmare," he continues, "Your eyes were wide open, and your chest was rising and falling rapidly." I nod slowly, remembering the vivid nightmare I had. It felt so real, so intense, and the images still feel fresh in my mind. I look over at Kevin, seeing his face filled with concern. "Do you remember anything?" he asks, his voice sounding worried. I shake my head slowly, still feeling the impact of the dream on my soul. Alex and Kevin look at each other with concern, feeling the weight of my dream and its profound effects upon me. "It'll be okay," Alex says, placing a hand gently on my shoulder. "Dreams can feel real, but they aren't real." He looks at me with kindness, his words helping to ground me and bring me back to reality. I nod slowly, taking a deep breath and trying to shake off the effects of the dream. "Yeah, you're right," I say to Alex with a weak smile, "Just a bad dream, that's all." "Do you want to go upstairs and get some rest?" Alex asks, his voice sounding worried. "That nightmare looked pretty intense." I nod slowly, my eyes still feeling heavy and my mind still reeling from the dream. "Yeah, getting some rest might be a good idea," I say, my voice sounding tired and raspy. Kevin nods as well, his voice also sounding slightly hoarse from the dream. "Let's go get some rest," he says, "We can talk about the nightmare in the morning." I nod slowly, agreeing that a good night's sleep might be the best thing for all of us. We all slowly make our way upstairs, Alex leading the way. He looks back at both Kevin and I, ensuring we're following closely behind his. Kevin is the first one to break the silence, asking gently, "You sure you're okay? That was a pretty intense nightmare." I shrug, my voice sounding slightly tired and strained. "Yeah, I'm fine," I say quietly, "Just need some sleep, that's all." Alex nods silently, agreeing with me. I'm not sure he fully believes my words, but I appreciate his concern nonetheless.
