I wake up in the middle of the night, feeling the warmth of Alex next to me. His body is pressed close to mine, and his arm is wrapped around me like a protective blanket. I look at him with a small smile, my mind filled with memories of our happy Little life . The sight of his sleeping face fills my heart with love and affection, and I lean in close to his face and lightly kiss him on the forehead. I take a moment to drink in his presence and savor the moment, knowing that I am exactly where I am supposed to be.
I wake up again to the warm morning light shining through the window. Alex is still asleep, his body tangled up with mine like the night before. I look down at him with a smile, feeling a sense of joy and peace fill my heart. I kiss him softly on the lips, and I can feel him wake up as well. He mumbles a sleepy sound and looks up at me with a relaxed smile. I lean in close and kiss him again, then sit up and brush my hair away from my face. "Morning," I say quietly.
I rise from my bed and steal a glimpse of Alex, his peaceful face so beautiful as he sleeps. I give him a soft smile as I leave the bedroom, heading to take a shower.
After my shower, I stare at my reflection in the mirror and notice a strange mark on my lower neck. A fire mark, shaped like a crown. I stare at the mark in wonder, feeling a strange sense of mystery and intrigue.
Why is this strange mark here? What does it represent? I wonder, unable to contain my curiosity as my thoughts race with possibilities.
I walk over to my dressing table and sit down, feeling the weight of my thoughts pressing against me. I stare at the mark on my neck, the mysterious fire crown, and I find myself wondering about its origin and meaning. Why is it there? What significance does it hold? Am I the only one with this mark?
I reach out to touch the mark, running my fingers gently over its shape. I think back to the words of the demon and the lessons of Mr. Rupert, searching for clues. Suddenly, I hear Alex call out to me from the other room. "Are you alright, dear?"
I look up from my reflection and call back to Alex, "I'm alright, just relaxing." I stare down at the mark, feeling a sense of destiny and importance fill my mind. "Alex, come here for a moment," I call out to him, unable to keep the excitement and anticipation out of my voice. "Are you sure you're alright?" he asks, his words filled with slight worry. "Yes, I'm fine," I reassure him, "just come in here, please."
I stare at the mark on my neck as Alex approaches, a look of profound seriousness on my face. He walks up behind me and looks at where I am looking at my reflection, the mark visible to him as I look at it. He gently takes my chin in his hand and turns my face away from the mirror. "What is this?" he asks, his green eyes filled with wonder and curiosity. I reach back to touch the mark, feeling its heat and its smoothness on my neck. "I'm not sure...but I think...I think it means something."We look at each other with wonder, the marks on our bodies identical yet different at the same time. Alex moves closer to me, his eyes filled with curiosity and awe. "We are connected," I whisper solemnly, staring at the mark on my neck and his neck. "Our past, our present, and our future," I tell him, "They're all intertwined." Alex smiles at me, his eyes sparkling with warmth and understanding. He takes my hand and holds it tightly, and I feel my heart fill with a profound sense of love, belonging and destiny.
As Alex looks down at the mark on my neck and traces his fingers over it, he lets out a slight gasp of surprise. "Mine is different...more like a sword," he says, gently turning my face towards his and staring at the mark. "I can't believe this. There must be a reason why we are like this." I nod slowly, my eyes still filled with awe and curiosity at the mark on my neck and on Alex's. I feel a connection between us, a bond that runs deeper than mere physical touch. "This has to mean something."
As Alex and I stare at our marks side by side, we both notice a similarity between them. The crown-like shape of my mark and the sword-like shape of his seem to mirror one another, and the connection becomes too obvious to ignore. We glance at one another, our minds racing with the implications. "It can't be a coincidence," Alex says quietly, his eyes filled with excitement and intrigue. We take a moment to consider the possible reasons for this phenomenon, feeling a sense of destiny and purpose fill our hearts.
With growing awe and wonder filling our minds, Alex and I continue to stare at our marks side by side. We remain silent for a moment, unsure of what to say or do. Our thoughts and feelings are racing with possibility and meaning, but we find ourselves at a loss for words. Finally, I speak up, the thoughts filling my mind too numerous to keep silent any longer. "The demon knew....he knew about all of this," I say quietly, my mind still trying to grasp the significance of our marks.Alex looks at me in shock, the realization hitting him with equal parts fear and excitement. "He knew...he knew we were out there," he whispers, his voice filling with awe and disbelief. "The demon...he knew about our ancestors...and he knew about us." Suddenly, we both feel a sense of connection filling our hearts, and a profound knowledge and understanding flooding our minds. "Our ancestors...the Lost Kings...they existed." We both speak in hushed tones, each of us slowly coming to terms with the implications of our marks.
