I was astonished the night she came to my office.

Where had she been the past three months? Why did she leave? Why didn't she tell me or anyone that she was leaving?
When I took her to my mansion, she was different. She dressed different, she looked different and she was behaving differently.
She is being so nice, and very open. The Ophelia that I know wouldn't have told me that someone was threatening her; she would have just told me to mind my own business.
The Ophelia didn't happily smile at anything.
The Ophelia that I know is manipulative.
If she wasn't richer than me, I would have been suspicious about her being a gold digger and doing all this for clout.
Since she is being an open book, I guess it wouldn't hurt to ask some questions.
