Chapter 2: The Accusation

Daphne POV
"I know vine, but I can't stop myself from falling" he mutters with a lustful gaze at me.
His hands were firmly around my neck, as he tilted my head closely and devoured my lips, sucking and licking in fervor.
He ravaged my tongue and lips with sucks that made me squirm in ecstasy.
I allowed his endearing taste to flow in his body, igniting a jerk in his manhood.
He was too appetizing and I wasn't ready to let go. I desired him to make me feel wanted, to flush out every horrible moments I had with my mate.
He was never mine to begin with but I never mind venturing into a forbidden affair just to be the one who makes me feel like a woman.
Lazily, I flung my tiny hands around his neck, shifting to meet up with his pace of kissing.
I moved one of my hands back to his cheek and the other one shoved into his soft dark hair.
"Peris..." I mewled, my stomach churning as my core got drenched with aroused liquids.
"Hmm" Peris breathes and slowly withdraws his lips from mine for both of us to catch our breath.
Our forehead slightly leaning against each other. I licked my tongue as my face feels so hurt.
"Get ready tonight Daphne, I'm taking you with me," he said, and the earth stopped.
He pecked my swollen lips, staring at me with extreme hunger in his eyes.
"No, you'd stir a war between both packs! It's for this reason I accepted this alliance in the first place!" I reasoned, petrified as I believe he was driven by passion.
He took my hand and placed it on his chest, and I felt his heartbeat.
"I don't care, Daphne, I just don't know why it hurts here, seeing you in pain"
He referred to his heart, that feeling he never wanted to accept. I couldn't give him a response as fear course as I didn't want to be sighted by him.
"I will let everyone know you're mine, no one can have you except me Daphne" he furthers as my body slammed against his. We exchanged breath, and I inhaled.
"There can't be us Peris, we are siblings and..."
"There's no harm in breaking the rules and if you aren't ready, I'd abduct you, love is shameless," he passionately mutters and immediately, a knock was heard on the door.
My body quaked as we rolled our eyes to the door.
"They can't find you here," I panic, trying so hard to make him hide.
"Neither would I let you see him!"
"Stop being childish!" I yelled as gush tears poured out from my eyes. However, he wasn't willing to hide. Why was he acting so stubborn?
"You said tonight, then stay alive to take me with you!" I added with a glare at him. That was the best way to make him realize he shouldn't be seen in my room.
I folded my lips, with high hopes. If I'd be leaving this hell, I never mind stowing away with him.
Peris was my enemy, my hate and still yet my passion.
I had my reasons but that is a tale for some other day.
I rubbed my stomach having a straight face at the door. If we escape this loop hole alive, I'd break the news to him.
The door chips open and I flinch sighting the maid that walks in.
"The alpha wants to see you" the maid announced and I felt like weeping.
I dismissed her immediately, gnawing my teeth as my wolf whimpers.
We both hated that name. After rejuvenating my energy, I stepped out of the room.
Walking through the lobby, I sense the maids, servants, whispering and making a kind of scary face at me.
I got to Alpha Lance's chamber and to my bewilderment it was quite rowdy.
I was trembling but I had to muster up courage, because tonight I won't be seeing him anymore.
I travelled my eyes to the bed and I saw her, my nightmare, she was writhing to and fro with physicians gathered around her.
I was curious, panting softly as everything seems confusing. Maids kept trooping in as she cried in pains.
Blood sizzling from her thighs.
I was puzzled as it wasn't time for her to give birth yet.
She was Raina, Lance's breeder and mistress. He claims he was tired of me and needed someone lovable to make him feel alive, yet he wouldn't let me go.
It shattered my heart because I loved him and was willing to go through the storm for him.
With him, I intended to forget about my past with Peris. He was the reason I desired to live, the reason I didn't take my life.
He supported me, little did I know that he had his personal gain attached to it.
I thought we were unbreakable as he showered me with an uncontrollable fond, but I was wrong, he was just like Peris who abandoned me in the end.
All he wanted was my special abilities, for me to manipulate alphas to merge their packs with his.
I could heal anyone of any infirmity, and he gain fame through that. Now, I was useless to him.
I just had to be consumed under his cruel affection. In my relationship, I was always the victim.
As Peris, he only gave me up because he feared he might lose his reign because of our forbidden romance.
He couldn't defend me then but Lance did. Perhaps that's why I was blinded and thought I found a solid ground.
I wanted Peris jealous that I was with him but I was wrong.
If I were given a chance, I'd never want my heart to repeat the same mistake, falling for the wrong men.
I rolled my eyes to the man standing beside me, he was boiling and raging.
Alpha Lance quickly rushed at me and hit me in the face.
My face swivel to the right side as I felt an anguish pain coursing through my left cheek.
I could barely feel my face. It cause a strand of tears to fall out. It was quite too sudden, I was barely recovering from the previous injuries.
"How dare you poison my breeder!" He barks at me and I was literally confused.
