Elena’s POV.
I hesitated. To be honest, I was glad Lucas came for me and that he cares but I don’t want to go with him to the pack. I don’t fit in there and I gate it. Besides, I loved the human city.
Lucas looked at me expectantly. I was still silent, still undecided on what to do. Alpha Marcus didn’t have a chance but choosing Lucas meant going back to the pack.
“Elena?” Lucas prompted, looking hopeful.
“Ellie.” Alpha Marcus also says, and Lucas glared at him but says nothing. Beta Ethan also looked on, expecting me to say something.
“Well, you can’t expect me to make a decision now! I need time, okay?” I eventually say, hoping I would appease everyone.
