I continued crying. I feel so bad and guilty. I had betrayed my mate in the worst possible way. He still cared though because he actually called the human nurse but that was in his nature. That was just him being a really good alpha. I had broken his heart twice now and he probably would never look at me the way mates do ever again. Whatever was building up with him had just crumbled and it’s all my fault. Maybe if I had told him from the start it would have been different. I really messed up.
