Chapter Two

SOBER ENCOUNTER Amanda POV I was dumbfounded. I couldn't believe my eyes; it all seemed unrealistic to me. Everyone kept staring at me with their hands in their mouths. They all murmured to their friends about one thing or another regarding me. I became the main topic, and Kevin sure had put his foot in it. I watched as Jessica came before me with Kevin's hand on her waist. I wished I could just bite the dust and get through it, but it seemed there wasn't going to be any nip in the bud. "You heard the man. He wants me, not my worthless stepsister, who led a dog's life. So if you know what's good for you, better get the hell out of here," Jessica ranted, still holding onto Kevin. I was furious but sad at the same time; there was nothing I could do but hold my tongue. “It seems you don’t know your place. I have made my decision and you are going to be sold out to the cruel Alpha of the Crescent moon pack. Enjoy your life that’s if you even have one." Kevin spat out. His words erupted a roar of laughter in the pack, breaking down the wall of courage in me. I couldn't take. it anymore, so I took to my heels, ignoring the laughs that echoed around me. Tears rolled down my cheeks with each step I took. It felt like a hole had been pierced in my heart, leading to never-ending pain. I felt used, betrayed, embarrassed, humiliated, and most of all, weak. It hurts to be rejected, but it hurts a lot more when my lover chooses the one person I hate the most in this world. I needed a drink—something to wash away the pains of humility. Luckily, there was a bar up ahead, and it was open to all. All the bars were to be shut down, so it only meant the owner of the bar was a rogue and not under the jurisdiction of Kevin. I sat on one of the fancy chairs next to the bar table and ordered some alcohol. The bottles kept coming, and I wanted them so badly. The thirst seemed rather explicit—the right choice to drown my sorrows in the pit. I wasn’t worried about the pay; I had enough to get myself killed if need be. The eerie eyes of the other customers got my attention; they didn’t seem to be afraid of me, but they were suddenly all so tensed up as a young man walked into the bar. Within the blink of an eye, they had all fled the bar. “It seems you’re the brave one out of the many," he said as he took a seat beside me. The bartender shook in fear as he took the man's order. “I don’t see why I should run from a man of your caliber. Pain to me is my everyday life, so why should I be afraid of getting into hot water with you?" I blurted out after another gulp of alcohol. He laughed wholeheartedly at my statement. I was contradicting his beliefs under the influence of alcohol while getting to know each other. The bartender began to get scared at some point and ended up leaving the shop to our care. “You know people can be a hassle sometimes," he said, shoving another bottle down his throat. “Yeah, I know, right. If only there was someone who could understand the basics of existence," I let out, gazing at the sky. “What about we find out, just you and me?" he blurted out, dropping his 52nd bottle of Tequila. “What do you have in mind?" I responded, taking his chin up with two of my fingers. We both headed to the closest hotel for a survey. We were drunk and definitely not perfectly sane, thereby causing trouble along the way and running away right after. It was fun doing something that wasn’t related to the normal discipline. We were moving around carelessly and being chased most of the time. A perfect way to end the day after being rejected. The hotel was a big one known to hone the most privileged; he went in and I followed suit, after all, we weren’t there to sleep. As we walked in, everyone shrieked and quivered. They all ran to the wall for cover, and that’s where I began to wonder who this stranger really was. The receptionist was really frightened by his presence; she gave him the master key to the hotel rooms and fled. “Shall we?” he asked, pulling me closer to him. His touch was far from anything I have ever felt; it was magical. It felt so safe and comfortable that I began yearning for it. “Let's go forward," I replied, taking his hand. With the help of the master key, we gained entrance into the VIP section. He walked in first to survey the room for any intruders. While he was at it, I locked the door behind me and moved towards him in a rather seductive manner. He was the only man I have met whose handsomeness was on par with that of Kevin. I didn’t want him to slip away just like Kevin; for some reason, I wanted him inside me. He came back to meet me after some minutes of surveying, and I went for it. I grabbed him by the neck, raising myself up to plant a kiss on his lips. He was stunned, but also ready for it. He kissed me back, opening up my tongue and taking it in eternal bliss. As the kiss intensified, he drew me to himself, grabbing me by the ass and bringing me closer to himself. I had lost control of myself and was all over him, exploring his hair down to his hard rod. He was also in the moment, unzipping my gown and letting it slide down my fair skin. He turned me around, and in an instant, we were on the bed. His hands went behind me, unhooking my braziers and revealing my lustrous boobs. His tongue found my n****e, and there I was moaning. “Don’t stop, yes, love me.”.
