It's been only a few minutes since I stepped into the house. The strong aroma of food hit me in the nostrils right from the door. I began to sniff like I was some hungry beast.
"Mom! Mom!" I called in ecstacy, bouncing like I was some baby boy. My eyes flickered around in search of her. It didn't take long for me to find her. She was engulfed in her cooking and had loud music playing in the background, preventing her from hearing my calls..
