ARIELLE'S POV
The words of the principal sent chills down my spine and for a few seconds, I didn't know what to do. I stared at Kendra, uttering not a single word. She walked close to me and wrapped her hand around me.
"You'll be alright. You've got nothing to worry about. I'll always be here for you even when you don't need me," she said with a bright smile that lighted me up. I took a deep breath, smiled back at her and went after the principal who was out of the class already.
My path crossed with Anna's as she was trying to leave as well. We frowned at each other as we found our way out. The look on her face was one that left me excited. I was glad she finally got a taste of her own medicine.
