ARIELLE'S POV
The bell for lunch rang and immediately, the class erupted into something entirely different. I stared around, wondering what had suddenly come over them. The teacher was still in the class but it seemed they didn't care about that. I took a deep breath as I nodded my head.
"Are you going to get something?" Leo said to me, gently tapping me on the shoulder. His touch was calm and cool, leaving me euphoric. I felt different and I had no explanation for it.
"I'm not sure I have anything to get. Why do you ask?" My gaze was fixed on him as I spoke, like I was searching for something. He stared back, batting his eyelids not even once.
"I was hoping to tag along with you. I need to get something but I do not know where it is being sold."
