PRINCIPAL'S POV
I went mute all of a sudden, like the cat had suddenly gotten my tongue. I couldn't believe my eyes, and neither could I believe she was the one standing in front of me. My eyes flickered uncontrollably as I tried to process it.
"What have you come here for?" I inquired when I finally managed to regain myself. She stood akimbo with her gaze fixed wholly on me. She managed a smile that was laced with sarcasm and evil.
The sound of her heels as she walked through the hall echoed through, sending chills down the spines of everyone in there. The students stared on in silence. I could see their worries as they tried to process what was going on. Bile gathered in my throat, and it took a while to process my thoughts.
