LILA Victor's warm chuckle lingered in the air as he ushered us inside. The foyer opened up to reveal a small gathering of perhaps ten people, their conversations hushed and eyes curious as we entered. With a snap of his fingers, Victor silenced the soft background music. "Joining us today are the daughters of one of our own," he announced, his voice carrying across the room. "Lila and Trisha Morgan." A hush fell over the group, and I felt the weight of their stares. Suddenly, a woman stepped forward, her eyes locked on me.
