Or humiliated her the way you did last night.” The reaction was instant. His face twitched, like the words had landed exactly where they were meant to. Good. “And for the record,” I continued, taking another slow drink from the bottle, “you’re giving the team a pretty damn bad name.” He frowned slightly, like he didn’t understand where I was going yet. “I know exactly what kind of man I am,” I went on. “I’ve never pretended otherwise. But even I’ve never crossed the line of sleeping with two sisters.” I lifted the bottle and gestured lazily with it. “That takes a special kind of idiot.” Ethan’s jaw tightened.
