I swung my legs off the bed and stood up. “You will learn quickly that I dislike riddles,” I said as I headed toward the bathroom. “I am going to take a bath.” I did not wait to hear whether Ebony had anything else to say. The cool tile beneath my feet sent a faint shiver through my body as I entered the bathroom. I flipped on the overhead light and leaned over the sink, studying my reflection in the mirror.
