"Asher, I need time," Daisy said, her voice barely above a whisper. "I can't just forget what you did."
"I know, Daisy. I'm not asking you to forget. I'm asking you to forgive me," Asher pleaded, his words tumbling out in a desperate rush. "Please, don't leave me."
Daisy's sigh echoed through the phone, a heavy sound that weighed on Asher's heart. "I'll think about it, Asher. But I need space. Don't follow me."
Asher's grip on the phone tightened, his mind racing with thoughts of losing her. "Okay, Daisy. I'll give you space. But please, don't shut me out completely."
The silence that followed felt like an eternity, and Asher wondered if he'd said too much. But then Daisy spoke, her voice firm and resolute. "I'll be in touch, Asher. But for now, goodbye."
The line went dead, and Asher stood there, his phone still pressed to his ear, feeling like his world was crumbling around him. He knew he had to win Daisy back, but he had no idea where to start.
As he stood there, frozen in uncertainty, Hazel's words echoed in his mind: "You'll never be able to keep Daisy. She's not like us." Asher's jaw clenched in determination. He would prove Hazel wrong. He would win Daisy back, no matter what it took.
Mason burst into Hazel's living room, his face red with rage. "Hazel, are you blind? Daisy's going to steal Asher away from you!"
Hazel rolled her eyes, lounging on the couch. "Mason, calm down. I've got everything under control."
Mason's eyes widened in incredulity. "Under control? You're letting Daisy waltz in here and take Asher away from you! You need to be smart, Hazel. Pack your bags and move into Asher's house. He won't be able to send you away then."
Hazel's smile grew sly. "Oh, Mason. You're so predictable. I have a plan, and it doesn't involve moving into Asher's house just yet."
Mason's face twisted in frustration. "Fine. But you're making a huge mistake. I'll take care of Daisy myself."
Mason stormed out of Hazel's house, his phone already dialing Daisy's number. "Daisy, listen to me. If you don't leave Asher and Hazel alone, I'll harm you and the baby in your womb. Do you understand?"
Daisy's voice trembled on the other end of the line. "Mason, please—"
"No, Daisy. You need to listen. Leave them alone, or face the consequences."
Daisy knew she had no choice. She threw her SIM card away and relocated, determined to keep herself and her baby safe from Mason's threats.
Daisy's hands trembled as she held the phone, Mason's menacing words echoing in her mind. She knew she had to protect herself and her unborn child.
With a surge of adrenaline, Daisy sprang into action. She grabbed a small bag and began packing her essentials.
"What's wrong, Daisy?" Emilia asked, concern etched on her face as she entered the room.
Daisy's eyes welled up with tears. "Mason threatened me and the baby. I have to leave."
Emilia's expression turned fierce. "We'll go to the police."
Daisy shook her head. "No, I need to disappear. For now, it's the only way to keep us safe."
Emilia nodded, understanding in her eyes. "I'll help you pack. We'll figure something out."
Together, the two friends quickly gathered Daisy's belongings, their movements swift and silent.
As they finished, Emilia hugged Daisy tightly. "You're not alone, Daisy. I'll always be here for you."
Daisy smiled weakly, feeling a sense of gratitude towards her friend. "Thank you, Emilia. I don't know what I'd do without you."
With a heavy heart, Daisy left her old life behind, determined to start new life.
Asher's fingers flew across his phone's keypad as he dialed Daisy's number. But the call failed, and he was met with an automated voice telling him the number was no longer in service.
Asher's face twisted in frustration. "Damn it!"
Troy, who was sitting across from him, raised an eyebrow. "Hey, man, what's wrong?"
Asher slammed his fist on the table. "Daisy's phone is dead. I need to talk to her."
Troy's expression turned sympathetic. "Maybe she just needs some space, Asher. You've been pretty intense lately."
Asher's eyes narrowed. "I know what I'm doing, Troy. I need to see her."
Troy sighed. "Fine, but maybe you should try Emilia's number instead. She might know something."
Asher's eyes lit up. "That's a great idea. I'll go visit her."
Troy's expression turned skeptical. "Asher, are you sure that's a good idea? You're not exactly in the best state of mind right now."
Asher stood up, his jaw set. "I need to see Emilia. She's the only one who can help me now."
With that, Asher stormed out of the room, leaving Troy looking worried behind him.
Meanwhile, Emilia was sitting in her living room, staring at her phone with a mixture of fear and anxiety. She knew Asher would try to contact her eventually, and she wasn't sure if she was ready for that conversation.
The doorbell rang, and Emilia's heart skipped a beat. She knew who it was before she even opened the door.
"Asher," she said, trying to sound calm.
Asher's eyes were wild with emotion. "Emilia, I need to know where Daisy is. I need to talk to her."
Emilia shook her head. "I don't know where Daisy is, Asher. She left and said it's for her and her unborn child's safety. I think she needs some time. She even changed her SIM card."
Asher's face twisted in frustration. "Fine. I'll find her myself."
With that, Asher stormed out of Emilia's house and returned home. As he opened the door, he was met with a surprise - Hazel, standing in his foyer with a suitcase.
"What's with the luggage?" Asher asked, his tone cold.
Hazel's eyes welled up with tears. "I can't take care of this pregnancy alone, Asher. I didn't impregnate myself."
Asher's eyes narrowed. "What about Mason? Isn't he Daisy's ex-husband?"
Hazel nodded. "He lied to you, Asher. He his my cousin, we grew up together , she knew she just lied, but she need to convince him so he won’t knew he was working with her . And he never signed the divorce papers from his previous marriage. He sent you fake documents."
Asher's face twisted in rage. "Where is Daisy? She's carrying my child!"
Mason smirked. "Maybe she left you, Asher. You know, I'm a woman beater and you're a womanizer. We both have disadvantages. Maybe she left, looking for Mr. Perfect."
Asher threw a punch at Mason's face, and blood splattered all over Hazel's face. "Leave him alone, Asher! Get out, you b***h! Leave me alone!"
Mason faced Asher, unfazed. "I know about the huge contract you want to sign, concerning your late father's company. Either you allow Hazel to stay, or I'll ruin your image and everything."
Asher hesitated, unsure of what to do. He didn't want the contract to fall through, not after his father had worked so hard for it. "Fine," he spat. "She can stay."
