  Chapter 7 Luke pulled his car to the curb the next afternoon and climbed out, taking a deep breath of the warm air fragrant with apple blossoms from the tree in the yard. The sunlight felt wonderful. As the saying went, Thank God it’s Friday. Yesterday had been tough. First the drama at soccer practice, then getting Riley’s stuff from his house before his mom got home.
