He looks shitty.

There's a thin line between bravery and pure stupidity...... And I can walk that line like me Victoria secret model on a red carpet baby.                                                                                                                            -Lizzy Valhurd. Lizzy POV                        After I managed to survive the twelve foot drop from the stupid painting my adventurous and sore ass decided I need more danger and I ventured even deeper into the dark candle lighten hallway. Call me crazy. I'm still wondering how the vampires were able to get the building within a day of them invading us like how. And did they carefully plan the invasion for years and years waiting for the perfect time to strike. I wonder if Damon noticed I'm gone. He probably didn't though he's was so fast in running out of the room immediately I woke up. The hallway looked like something that was Hallowed themed. Scary red candles and occasional screams that frightened the hell out of me.                      I passed cells as I ventured deeper and deeper into the hallway. Many of them empty while some where filled with different creatures. A pale skinned looking human, a pimble covered green skinned person with a long nose and even a giant wounded grey wolf. Where are the guards. And who are these people what did they do to deserve this. They looked absolutely dejected some didn't even have the strength to look up when I passed. Fear drilled holes into me and my adventurous sprit betrayed me and leaped out the window(traitor).                       I tried to ignore everything and everyone and find my brother but that proved impossible. The situation of the people here made me despise vampires even more. Actually it made me despise Damon even more. I know he has a huge hand in this. How could he do this to humans and other creatures. Sben some of his own KIND! are locked up here. And the fear of my brother being like this made me feel worse.               I was almost at the end of the hallway and there still wasn't a sign of Logan. I feel like puking more and more as the seconds go by. At the third to the last cell I finally saw a figure that looked like him. I approached it consciously.     "Logan?" I called out. The figure didn't move.    "Logan it's me Lizzy. Please answer me" I said.    This time the figure did move and I almost wished it didn't.                      It was almost fully covered in blood. Half of his face was bloodied. His naked chest was filled with gashes. And oh his neck was even worse. I immediately felt horrible while I was taunting guards and flirting with death my brother was actually getting beaten up by these animals.         "Lizzy...... Oh my God....your alive. I can't believe your alive" He coughed spitting out blood.    Tears of joy, sadness and so much fear filed my eyes.          "Logan look what they did to you. I'm so sorry I couldn't get here earlier" I cried.    He tried to shake his head but winced at his neck pain. "Its ok. On the contrary you have to get out of here. And fast they are coming back to kill me soon. If they see you your dead".         I gaped at him. Did he seriously expect me to leave right now. After all he's been through his still looking out for me.        " How do I get you out of here. Tell me where are the keys. And don't tell me no because God so help me I will pull out your front tooth"                Logan stared at me a while before he let out a shirly sound. Which I now recognise as a laugh.           "Its a code. At the padlock. U don't know how to unlock it. There's a riddle written on it. The answer to the riddle is the password that unlocks this cage" he said.         I rolled my eyes. Seriously riddles could vampires get more cliché.      I decided to go with the cliché train and read the riddle out loud     "What is the answer to life, the universe and everything".            I don't understand a thing. But hold on I know that question. It was asked on this really good book.   " Logan!. Do you remember when we were ten and absolutely obsessed with astronauts " I asked.    " I do but now isn't exactly the best time to start remembering old memories". He pointed out.   "I know but listen to me. Do you remember hitchhiker's guide to the galaxy by Douglas Adams" I asked.   "Get to the point please...I need to pee" he cried.    Ok that was a weird moment.   "He asked the exact same question and answered it. It was calculated over a period of 7.5 million years by a supercomputer named deep thought. So if I remember exactly what I read 14 years ago. The answer is 42.     " Are you shitting me? I don't even understand the damn question and you just picked a random even number as the answer".     "There's literally only one way to find out" I said and moved to type it on the keypad.     "Wait!. The pad is connected to an alarm if you type it and fail to get it right the alarm will ring and the leeches will kill us. There's a rule if a prisoner tries to escape and he's caught its an instant death" Logan stated.      I gaped at him. Since when are leeches so smart.       "Who the hell made that rule" I yelled         "I don't know some really powerful leech" He responded.        Damon! Damnit that smart little LEECH!     " This is the right answer. Do you trust me?" I asked  He nodded.         "Well then shut up and let me get you out" I yelled.     He nodded again.       I silently typed the answer praying to God that I'm not going to die in the hands of those leeches.     After a horrible 30 seconds the door made a sound and unlocked.        I skilled happily as I hugged Logan. He winced in pain then hugged me back.     "Ok thank you so much Lizzy. I knew you would always have my back. Now let's get out of here"          As I pulled his arm on my shoulder and helped him walk. The universe proved once again it completely despises my very existence.       Five leeches appeared out of no where stopping our part armed to their knuckles (Seriously they were wearing brass knuckles).       "Damnit those bastards tricked us. It was a silent alarm" Logan said as fear clouded his eyes.
